Yesterday Was All About Celebration

Happy New Week friends

My yesterday was full of yesterday. It was celebration and activity filled, infact I slept so tired because of the level of engagement.

Yesterday Sunday started on Saturday, Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion mapped out yesterday for mothering Sunday celebration. A special day to celebrate womanhood, women are so special, for any society or organization to stand so strong it requires the dedication of a woman. The church chose to celebrate the numerous contribution of her women for this past year. This celebration is a yearly thing and the date is not always fixed but it is usually two Sundays before the end of lent that's for Anglican Communion.

We already started some activities within the week, on Thursday was reserved for the younger women that's the ladies as they are the future mothers and needs to be helped in several ways. You know many girls get deceived because they don't have the adequate knowledge they need at this material time.

On Friday, the women went for hospital visitation and shared lots of goodies with them. If you are not thankful for the good health you have your orientation will change when you get to the hospital to see someone who needs an assistance to breath.

On Saturday was couples hangout, our pastor loves such program so much, couples related matters was raised, we eat, drank and danced together before we moved to our different homes. We got home some minutes past 10PM because it was so late and getting mobility that time was not so easy.

Sunday was now the main day, trust women...we always have our special way of getting into people's heart. There was different segment of the morning service which was so fun. Because I went to the small church I couldn't capture from the beginning. When I came in there was a dance drama going on. The song is all to appreciate the hard work of women. How she puts her best to see that the children are going well.

See this woman as old as she is still goes to the farm to fetch firewood for the family, she didn't just mind that her health is at at stake

This woman is heavily pregnant but despite all that she still goes about to look for what the family will feed on, only the heat she faces at this point is enough for her to take excuse for the remaining days of her pregnancy but she said no.

This one made me laugh so hard, this woman pushes her daughter to school everyday, pamper her and all that. You know some children don't just like to leave the comfort of their homes so you just have to look for things that will make them happy.

At last, the children grew to remember all the goodness and came to appreciate the mother.

Four men were called out and the moderator didn't tell them what there are going to be doing. Later they where asked to back children or face a fine of #10,000 each. Trust women, we know how to look for money. All of them tried their best, there are things women do that they just see it as normal, but we are super humans.

In the evening there was a friendly Match between the men and the women. Trust me😜😜😜 we won 3:2. The women scored 3 while the men scored 2...yeah. Yesterday was the first time I heard some kind of rules in this game ooo. There should not be over running from the men, over dribbling 😂. Then the women over holding of the ball on the hand is a crime....I laughed so hard oooo.

It all ended well though our goal keeper had a dislocation on her hand, one man gave a hot short and we all went home with much joy in our heart.

Celebration such as this is so sweet ooo, the tomorrow I am looking forward to is the next year's mothers day celebration. I pray that God keeps us alive in good health to see another mothers day celebration.
