It Was A Cold Day But I Am Alive

Yesterday we experienced a heavy down pour at the early hours of the morning. You know that kind of sweet sleep that comes when the weather is just so favourable, truth be told I didn't know when it was almost 6 AM, I jumped out of bed to go prepare the kids for school. Oh, how I wish it was a weekend I would have pushed till maybe 8 AM.

There was a drastic change in the weather this year that the heat was just something else. Rain was not just forth coming which made the prices of things in the market just changed drastically and people are just left with little or no option. The rain of yesterday brought lots of joy to the faces of many people most especially the farmers who already planted their seeds.

Am so glad because when I got to the farm the seeds planted just doing well.

Get to the farm and cultivate a little portion for yourself

I've loved reading it so much! Waking up to a heavy downpour and that feeling of coziness it brings is so relatable. It's incredible how rain can affect us in so many ways, from giving us a refreshing sleep to bringing happiness to farmers. The relief and joy that came from the rain were really captured by your words. This reminds us of our connection to nature in a wonderful way. Your idea to start a little farm is inspiring and something many of us can consider. Thank you for sharing this kind of heartfelt reflection!
