Yesterday was the first Hive Meetup organized in Brussels, it was also my first meetup and first Hive experience.

Hello, my name is Caroline, I am a mom and an early childhood school teacher. After watching the Hive Meetup ads on @ioverses and exchanging with @jnmarteau, I've decided to explore Hive and the blockchain through the contribution to @Hivebelgium where I'll be publishing time to time.

Hier, c'était le premier Meetup Hive organisé à Bruxelles, c'était aussi mon premier meetup et ma première expérience Hive.

Bonjour, je m'appelle Caroline, je suis une maman et une enseignante. Après avoir vu la publicité de Hive Meetup sur @ioverses et avoir échangé avec @jnmarteau, j'ai décidé d'explorer Hive et la blockchain à travers la contribution à @Hivebelgium où je publierai de temps en temps.

Step/Etape 1 : I/O Verses ?

The first step of the meetup was at the shop of @tongo-logistic where Max hosts one of the first city point of the @ioverses network. The idea is great it enable to promote locals and for exemple the Hive related activities to a public who doesnt know it. When we arrived Eric one of the people often in the shop stopped us to share his greetings, congrat for being on the TV and for the initiative, telling he wont be there tonight but he will be happy if a training course is organized.

La première étape du meetup s'est déroulée au magasin de @tongo-logistic où Max accueille l'un des premiers city point du réseau @ioverses. L'idée est géniale, elle permet de promouvoir les locaux et par exemple les activités de Hive auprès d'un public qui ne les connaît pas. Quand nous sommes arrivés, Eric, l'un des habitués du magasin, nous a arrêtés pour nous saluer, nous féliciter d'être passé à la télé et pour l'initiative, nous disant qu'il ne serait pas là ce soir mais qu'il serait heureux si une formation était organisée.

Step/Etape 2 : Livestream

The meetup took another dimension when we've connected to the Viennese community. Seeing another group somewhere else organizing something in the same time on the same frame is crazy! Whats an organization!

Le meetup a pris une autre dimension lorsque nous nous sommes connectés à la communauté viennoise. Voir un autre groupe, ailleurs, organiser quelque chose en même temps et dans le même cadre, c'est fou ! Quelle organisation!

Step/Etape 3 : Food/Nourriture

I was happy to go to that restaurant, as vegetarian we have great options! I've took Jalapenos french fries and a veggie burger! Just delicious :D

J'étais heureuse d'aller dans ce restaurant, en tant que végétarienne nous avons de grandes options ! J'ai pris des frites Jalapenos et un burger végétarien ! Tout simplement délicieux :D

Step/Etape 4 : Discussions

After the dinner Jimmy @dgmdynamics and Jean showed the @ioverses platform (It looks like Netflix but for Hive and we can earn by making reviews) and how to use Hive, tags and such things.
It was a great experience that I can only recommend around and I'll definitely be posting time to time.

Après le dîner, Jimmy et Jean ont montré la plateforme @ioverses (ça ressemble à un netflix pour Hive et d'après ce que je comprend on peut gagner en faisant des revues) et comment utiliser Hive, les tags et ce genre de choses. C'était une bonne expérience que je ne peux que recommander et je vais certainement poster de temps en temps.
