Share Your Weekly Battle Challenge- Dragon Void The Impeccable Monster

Hello friends and gamers, how are you today? I have been trying to complete my daily quest for the past 2 hours but it was impossible for me to achieve.
I fought the battle to the end, became victorious and claimed reward chest loots. My task for today has been completed and I am very happy about that.
When I opened my computer today to start the battle before my daily quest was ready, I slept off due to tiredness. After I facilitated 2 classes today and conducted tests for them, I was really tired; I wanted to relax for 30 minutes before playing splinterlands, so I slept off. I woke up after 2 hours and I couldn't do anything because there was a program I needed to attend in that hour. I hurried to the programme, on getting there I was already late.
When I came back from the program, I went out for my dinner which took me an hour for that: then began to play splinterlands. When i saw that ‘use snipe monsters to complete your daily quest, i was very happy because it is very easier to use snipe monsters than sneaky monsters to complete daily quest. For 2 hours I couldn't complete my daily quest. I began to think that splinterlands is getting tougher for me again and I began to realize that i need to buy chao packs now.

In this article, I will be talking about void dragon, one of the new release cards in splinterlands. The first time I saw it, I didn't like the card because of one magic attack which made me not want to use it. After the first battle I used the void dragon, I was very happy to use it because I saw 2 magic attack attacks.
The major reason I used void dragon in this battle was because of the earthquake rule in the battle. I knew earthquakes can not affect monsters with flying ability, that was the major reason I used void dragon. This ability makes this monster standout among dragon monsters.
Speed is anothing I will talk about, void dragon is among the dragon monsters with highest speed, this ability makes it very unique to use in most battles rules in splinterlands since most of the battles rules require high speed monsters.
The void ability is also very effective against magic monsters, it is very useful in the rule where magic monsters are allowed

BATTLE RULESET

Earthquake: Non-flying monsters take two melee damage at the end of each round.
This was the rule I saw that made me use void dragon, which happens to be very good for me.

I was paired with@sdrod, and the moment I saw him using flying ability summoner, I wanted to give up.
I have been battling against flying ability in this type of ruleset and got defeated several times. That was the reason I wanted to have up.

BATTLE ARRANGEMENT

Djinn Chwala: I needed this monster so bad because my fly ability summoner is in level one which is not good to battle, i would have preferred to use it.
I really needed the thorns ability of chwala to damage melee monsters. Since monsters in the first position are the most targeted monsters in the battle; therefore the best way for me was to see how I can eliminate my opponent's monster in the first position.
It happened that the hunted spirit was my first opponent monster in the lineup. There was no chance for the hunted spirit to attack due to its speed. It was eliminated in the first round of the battle, and the hunted spirit was attacked by Void Dragon, Phantom Soldier, and Djinn Chwala.
The thorns ability cut the life of Sandworm when it attacked Djinn Chwala in the second round of the battle which made the sandworm eliminated with no time.

Phantasm: my plan for this monster was to take over if Chwala is eliminated. I understand that chwala did not have flying ability that could reduce damage done by an earthquake.
Phantasm led the battle in the third round, contributing immersively in eliminating Cthulhu which was one of the powerful monsters in my opponent's lineup.
Due to a massive magic attack, phantasm did not last longer, it was eliminated at the end of round 3.

Phantom Soldier: nothing could make me select Phantom Soldier than the flying ability and the magic attack.
This monster can attack in any position irrespective of the rules of the battle. Speed was the vital force that made me select this monster; I just need monsters with flying ability and speed to fight in this battle. I knew if I could get these monsters, there is a chance for me to win. Phantom Soldier was incredible and versatile in this battle.

Dragon Jumper: the opportunity ability was necessary to eliminate creepy ooze that reduced the speed of all my monsters. Internationally selected Dragon Jumper to attack monsters with the smallest health. After the elimination of Creepy Ooze, it also attacked Ancient Lich that would have caused problems and disorganized my plans.

Void Dragon: very effective in this battle. I didn't know that Void Drago had a high speed until today. I could never imagine that it could attack like that until I saw it 🤔🤔🤔.
When I saw that the sandworm was about to attack Void Dragon, I concluded that 'it is over' but the flying ability made the sandworm miss it.
Void Dragon makes easy to destroy most of the opponent monsters especially Silent sha-vI

Enchanted Pixie: this was the only monster that was not opportune to attack. The first attack by Silent Sha-vl eliminated enchanted Pixie.
Though, I never thought that my opponent would use a sneaky monster in this battle. If I knew, I would have placed enchanted Pixie in 5th position or second position from behind, that would have prevented enchanted Pixie from early death.

In Conclusion, any monster should not be underrated in splinterlands. Since I opened a chao pack and got this monster, I don't have plans to use it despite it being available in some battles. I underrated Dragon Void.
Now, I have realized how useful Void Dragon monsters Is Today. I will continue using this monster and constantly placing it in the best position depending on the battle ruleset.
I must confess that Void Dragon is sweet to use In the battles.
