There are several times I have been aiming for top spot in the silver league, but unfortunately toward the end of the season, I saw myself far above where I was. To be among the players in the leaderboard, you need cards of high qualities and high levels. Therefore, to be among the top players in the leaderboard, you need to build your account to that taste, and this requires more money to invest in the game.

I want to show you how important shieldbearer and the best position to use it. If i mistakenly not used shieldbearer in this battle, i would have been defeated hand down in this battle. That is the reason I want to show you the position I used shieldbearer monster.

BATTLE STRATEGY

• Uriel The Purifier: I needed the recharge ability of this monster so bad, and the mana cost could accommodate Uriel the purifier. I knew that its presence would be my best strength in this battle. Uriel was not eliminated throughout the battle because the strategies i implored in the battle.
  The contribution of Uriel was significant to my winning in this battle.

• Djinn Renova: strengthening all friendly monsters was my major priority of using Djinn Renova-giving all friendly monsters +1 health in addition to their normal stat.
  The magic attack of Djinn Renova was another reason for selecting it. I thought my opponent could have so much armor in his lineup, of which it does.
  Looking at his lineup, there are monsters with 9 armors, which would be difficult for me to destroy if I used melee monsters without magic monsters.

• Sandworm: I used sneaky strategies to win this battle, I brainstormed that my opponent could have powerful monsters at position 5th and 6th in the lineup. Destroying these monsters would help me to win the battle. That was the reason I used sneaky monsters.

• Silvershield Assassin: combination of double strike and sneak abilities was the reason for selecting Venari Wavesmith, which made it possible for me to eliminate the monster from the battle at round one. If not for the double strike ability I used, it would take a sandworm round 2 to eliminate venari wavesmith.

• Adelade Brightwing: restoring damaged armor was the reason for this, i knew that melee monsters would be used in the battle. I wanted to pick a divine healer but realized that I have the highest amount of mana in splinterlands, and can't afford to waste that mana; that was the reason I did not select my divine healer.

• Shiledbearer: if not the way I arranged my monsters, I would have been defeated. The Taunt ability was to attract all opponent monsters so that Uriel would not be eliminated in no time. If i did not use shieldbearer, Uriel would have been eliminated in the second round of the battle that would have led to my defeat.
  Shiedbearer was selected to delay from attacking and eliminated the rest of my monsters.
  In round 2 that shieldbearer was eliminated, venari wavesmith and nerissa tridawn of my opponent were also eliminated in round 3. Then, my opponent's magic attack monsters were left with one which was Djinn Oshannus.
