Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge! Earthquake

Happy weekend to my friends and splinterlands warriors. What a good weekend, just received an alert now! The weekend is going to be a bubble for me.

Earthquake rule is an old rule, those who started splinterlands would tell you that earthquake rule is an old rule. It was among the rules I knew when I started splinterlands.

Not all players know how to play this battle; and some players neglected the fact that the rule requires flying monsters.
This is a rule a player has to choose Flying monsters! Without flying πŸͺ½ ability, such a monster would take two melee damage.
Using flying monsters is a major factor in this battle.
Well! I have battled with a player that doesn't used flying πŸͺ½ a monster; yet, he defeated me.
Therefore, it all depends on your strategy and position you place monsters.

Lost Magic: Monsters with magic attacks may not be used.
This rule doesn't allow magic monsters to be used in battles. This is the reason there was no magic monster when I was arranging the monsters in this battle.
Therefore, if you have a plan to use magic monsters; the moment you there's a lost magic in the rule, you need to change your lineup.
I love to use magic monsters in this kind of a battle; if I was opportuned to use magic monsters; I would have used the Alric Stormbringer summoner in this battle.

Earthquake: Non-flying monsters take two melee damage at the end of each round.
I'm not new to this rule, Earthquakes are among the oldest rules in splinterlands. When I started splinterlands, the only cure for Earthquake in battles was to use flying ability monsters. Earthquake rule is in favor of flying ability monsters when Non-flying monsters take two damage at the end of each round; monsters with flying ability don't take damage when earthquake rule is activated.
The best way to avoid damaging Non-flying monsters is to use a summoner with flying ability. There is a summoner with flying ability; her name is Brighton Bloom. If a player uses Brighton Bloom in an Earthquake rule, Non-flying monsters will not be damaged by an earthquake because the Summoner gives Flying ability to all friendly monsters.
Note:All monsters take two melee damage when back to basic and Earthquake rules are in action. Hence, I love to use monsters with high ! magic attacks and health.

Melee Mayhem: Melee attack monsters can attack from any position.
This rule allows monsters to attack in any direction. We all know that when super sneak is in action, the majority of melee monsters attack from behind except monsters in the first position and if a monster in a second position has reach ability.
In melee Mayhem, it is not so… opportunity monsters attack monsters with the smallest health, melee monsters with sneak ability attack from behind, while the rest of melee monsters attack from the front line.
This is the reason, one needs to strategize very well when melee Mayhem is given.

****Mana****: there were times I needed such a high amount of mana in battle. Unfortunately, I couldn't get such a high mana cap.
I was given 58 mana… 58 could accommodate any summoner or monsters. That was the major reason I was able to use Helios Matriarch in this battle. Believe me, if the mana was below 30, I wouldn't have used Helios Matriarch in this battle. This summoner alone took six mana in a battle.

Ability: All friendly monsters have +1 speed and conscript
Mana: 6
I didn't use ****Helios Matriarch**** because of Bloodlust monsters, I used it because of the monsters with flying ability.
Only Dragon πŸ‰πŸ² summoners could allow me to use Dragon πŸ‰ 🐲 Jumper, Gloridax Soldier and Zyvax Vuul. Flying πŸͺ½ ability of these monsters was the reason they were not damage by earthquake 🫨.
I did not select Helios Matriarch because of speed, all I needed from Helios Matriarch was the opportunity to use monsters with flying ability.

Lost legendary rule gave me the clue 🧩 to use Djinn Chwala. Magic monsters were not available; I knew my monsters would use more melee monsters than range monsters.
That was how I made the decision to bring Djinn Chwala into the lineup so that the thorns ability could also take two melee damage from opponent melee monsters.
Djinn Chwala was in her best position; first position was the position that got the highest attack from both my lineup and my Opponent.
The presence of Djinn Chwala was pretty awesome as all the Opponent's monsters took two melee damage as a result of thorns ability.
Djinn Chwala did not reach the second one in this battle, but she was able to damage the armor of opponent 's monsters.

Gloridax Soldier

It was really tough for Opponent's monsters to destroy Gloridax Soldier. The shield πŸ›‘οΈ ability made it difficult to eliminate her. She led the battle in the second round when Djinn Chwala was destroyed; she was also eliminated in the second round. Her elimination was as a result of massive attacks from opponent. All Opponent's monsters including an opportunity monster kept on attacking Gloridax soldier.

Uriel The Purifier

Ability: Flying, Recharge and Healing ♦️♦️♦️
Health: 11❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️
Armor: 6πŸͺ–πŸͺ–πŸͺ–πŸͺ–πŸͺ–πŸͺ–
Attack: Melee
Mana: 11
The first reason I brought Uriel The Purifier was the flying πŸͺ½ ability. With this ability, it was impossible to take two melee damage due to Earthquake rule in this battle.
Second reason was the recharge ability: the recharge ability made it damage six health from Opponent's monsters.
It was supposed to damage more than six but the monster with the demoralized ability that my opponent used reduced his melee to 2.
The healing ability: the healing ability was helpful especially when his health was greatly damaged. He was able to restore a certain amount of health that made him stay longer in the battle.
The armor: the armor was helpful.
Dragon Jumper

The flying ability of Dragon πŸ‰πŸ² Jumper made it impossible to damage by earthquake. The speed of Dragon jumper πŸ‰πŸ² made him the first! monster to attack in my lineup.
Dragon jumper πŸ‰πŸ² and Zyvax Vuul was the only monsters that wasn't destroyed in this battle.

Speed: 4🚀🚀🚀 🚀
Ability: Flying and Recharge
Health: 8❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️
Attack: Range
Mana: 8
It was a good choice to select Zyvax Vuul. The recharge ability of ****Zyvax Vuul**** was awesome. Zyvax Vuul was the only monster whose health was not damaged. It was the second monster that led the battle to victory.

I never knew that my opponent would come with Noa the Just, I wouldn't have used Jared Scar in this battle. I would have used *****Chaos Knight*****.
Jared Scar was the first monster that was eliminated in this battle by Kulu Mastermind. Jared Scar wasn't given a chance to attack in this battle.

For a level for to fight level 6 is like war and the battle is not always easy for lower level. The moment I saw that my opponent was level 6 summoner I concluded that if I win, luck is in my side.
Winning a player with higher summoner and monsters is luck. That is the reason I considered myself as a lucky man.
Jared Scar was not given a chance to attack,nit was attacked and eliminated in round 1. Jared Scar was the first monster that was eliminated. By the end of round 1, two monsters were eliminated from my lineup; I was left with four monster πŸ’€ while my opponent had his 6.

πŸ”₯πŸ”₯Round 2 πŸ”₯πŸ”₯
It was Noa the Just that attacked first in this battle. This was because Noa the Just was the monster with the highest speed, it attacked Gloridax Soldier and damaged her health. The reason it couldn't damage 2 health was the shield πŸ›‘οΈ ability of Gloridax Soldier.
Dragon jumper πŸ‰πŸ² attacked Disintegrator and damaged its health.
By the end of round 2, Gloridax Soldier was eliminated; I was left with only three ! monsters while my opponent had six monsters but the first monster (Diemonshark) was seriously damaged.

In the beginning of round 3, Diemonshark was eliminated by Earthquake. It was round 3 when the first monster was eliminated from my opponent's lineup.
Only Diemonshark was eliminated in the third round of this battle.

By the beginning of round 4, the earthquake damaged and eliminated Disintegrator; all my melee monsters were able to regain their melee back.
It was the beginning of my breakthrough: Dragon jumper πŸ‰πŸ² eliminated Coastal Sentry, while opponent's Kulu Mastermind missed the target! Uriel The Purifier eliminated Arkemis the Bear.
Ay this point, my opponent was left with 2 monsters while also I was left with 2 monsters.

At the end of round 5, Uriel The Purifier eas monster. I was left with 2 monsters.
By the beginning of round 6, Earthquake eliminated Noa the Just, therefore my opponent was left with one monster.
Since my opponent have the advantage over the opponent's monster; Dragon jumper eliminated πŸ‰πŸ² Kulu Mastermind. That was the end of the battle.
