HOW MY HOPE WAS RESTORED IN A GLIMPSE OF FAILURE

This experience taught me a great lesson to be hopeful amidst challenges taking necessary and right steps alongside because, it will turn out well. One of the killers of hope is negative word been spoken by loved ones especially during a challenging moment. In addition to that, hope makes alive and it brings assurance/reassurance of a good end. In all truth, it is good to remain hopeful because "once there is life, there is hope".

My first time at the polling station

About two hours into the voting process, two vehicles fully loaded with armed policemen stormed the polling station. They came with an assignment which was to disrupt the process and compromise everything in favor of the ruling party at the time.

Hope at My Darkest Moment

I wept because I had fear, that I would never be going to school anymore because we all knew my mom alone couldn't send us to school even if she wanted to, she doesn't have the strength to push us further like our dad would have because her husband did basically everything while she took care of the home front end and enjoyed whatever her husband provided.
