House of the dragon is a series which tells the story/history of the house Targaryen. The house Targaryen are know to be dragon lords. Game of thrones fans will understand better. HOTD- House of the dragon is all about the house Targaryen.

The series is really interesting. HBO delivered as usual. I love the storyline and I love how they are weaving several videography into the movie. There is also a great variation of graphics which makes it very interesting.

House of the dragon is the only show that I'm currently following, and it's a pity that we have just one episode left for this season. I spent the whole of September and October watching series which includes She-Hulk, SEE season 3, and House of the dragon.

House of the dragon has been interesting so far. I love the story line. But as we all know, a movie that hasn't been criticized isn't a movie. Below are some critics about the series.

Critics

On my part I feel like they rushed things too much, unlike game of thrones which is developed over the course of many seasons. I've seen many reviews and discussions online about this and I have to agree that the story line is fast paced and a bit bland.

They have not given most characters time to develop and make their presence felt. About half if the cast were changed as the series progressed. Only a few were left unchanged, the likes of Ser Criston, Lord Larys, king Viserys, Princess Rhaena and so on.

Nevertheless, there are lot of movies that does that as well, I mean changing of character to represent their older self. But it seems the impression they gave us on Game of thrones made us expect more from them. The only bad side of the movie is that the story seems very rushed.

One of the critics i saw on Twitter was about the scene where Ser Criston attacked Laenor's brother for no reason. Right in front of the king and his guards and he was left unpunished. He is still alive in the series up until this last episode of the season 1.

House of the dragon is an interesting film to be very honest. Should be talk about the tension and wars in each episodes or the creation of Dragons (which we all know they no longer exist). You'll definitely love everything about the series. Which is why I said earlier that only those that watched G.O.T can relate.

There were some fights that were pretty cool like in the series. One of it was when Daemon was fishing for driftmark. He went on to face the crab men all by himself and he defeated them.

My favorite scene was when Daemon cut off the head of the man that called Rhaenyra (Daemons wife) a whore and her children bastards.

Overall this series is decent and has been interesting so far, can't wait for the last episode this Sunday.

Thanks for reading

I just finished watching episode 10 last night, I think episodes nine and ten are my favorites so far. Prince Daemon is my favorite character, he is full of action.

And you are right about the season been rush, I'm looking forward to the next season, hopefully they get to improve as I'm not getting the full GOT vibe yet.

That scene of Daemon slicing half of the Velyron dude's head off was quite the surprise but pretty badass-looking. Did not expect that but it's nice to see them showing that character's darker side despite the depiction of his claws having dulled over the years.

Yeah saw it Sunday. It was brutal but probably one of the better action and drama scenes we've gotten from the show in a while. I've been waiting for absolute fanged and fiery chaos to just break out on the show but looks like they're going for the slow boil. What struck me as almost touching was how Aemond and Lucerys couldn't fully control their dragons. When Araxas flamed Vhagar, Lucerys was actively telling it to stop. And after Vhagar got flamed, Aemond tried to calm it down due to how upset it got. I almost felt bad for Aemond -- he'd been bullied by his cousin as a kid, lost an eye, and is honestly a little creepy but didn't seem to have a true desire to murder Lucerys, just even the odds due to the eye he lost.

Yeah. The dragons have fastened the arrival of the warm Queen Rhaenyra was still trying all her best to avoid the war but with the death of her son, it will trigger her and make her start the war from her side.

The news is that Aemond killed Lucerys, but no one knows for a fact that the dragons acted on their own.

Now the look on Rhaenyra's face at the end signifies war. There is no other interpretation to it. She is really angry and would act based on the anger.

Yeah all the stress and tragedy that Rhaenyra's gone through has been so heavy. Seeing her learn of her son's death form Daemon was extra tragic. They did a very good job of demonstrating her anger so silently. That was definitely a face that had war written all over it.

Also, Aemond shouldn't have followed Lucerys when he was heading Back home. This was part of the reasons the dragons acted on their own and wasn't listening to either of them.

Dragons are always hungry for war. So when they saw that they were being pursued, they acted in order to save their owner. But Vagar was triggered and didn't even care about the prince on the dragon. 😢

Yeah I think as carnivores the dragons love the chase and to fight. Sometimes I wondered if the dragons were in-tune with their rider's true feelings or if it was just an example of two young men with dangerous wild beasts they could not properly control. The way they depict dragon-riding on the show is beautiful -- probably more so than even the previous series Game of Thrones. That one shot of Vagar overshadowing them in the rain was stunning but also terrifying.
