Hey folks.

Is Donald Trump just trying to be opportunistic or does he really mean what he said? Well, we don't know, only time can tell but anyway, the Presidential candidate recently expressed his support for crypto, specifying that he would stop hostility towards cryptocurrency in the United States if he were to be re-elected as the President of the country.

"If we’re going to embrace it, we have to let them be.” He also addressed the crowd that if they like crypto, “you better vote for Trump".

Previously, the same Trump openly criticized Bitcoin and crypto. Back in July 2019, he described them as "not money" also condemning their volatility and absence of intrinsic value. He also argued that these assets might help with illicit activities like drug trafficking.

Around 20% of adults in the US or over 50m individuals claim to hold crypto, according to Coinbase. This considerable figure has without a doubt captured the attention of the candidates, said Markus Levin, co-founder of XYO Network.

The CEO of premier brokerage Blueberry, Jonathan Thomas, claimed that voters will prioritize cryptocurrency as a single issue because of Trump's pro-crypto posture.

Trump used to be skeptical of cryptocurrencies, but these days he fully supports NFT. He is a market participant who has sold over $1 million worth of NFTs, some of which have his mugshot on them.
