The summer is now at its ending chapter and may be gone in the far northern mountains area of Beijing Municipality. Before they fall to the ground in the winter, the leaves are now reaching their maturity level and losing their fresh greenness. This is the period of nature's shift, and I have also resumed my outdoor travels in full force following the summer and rainy season vacation, when they were less comfortable than they are now with the warm and pleasant weather. Recently, I have visited the Yanqi Yanshan Road which is a scenic road by the other side of the Yanqihu lake near the mountains. I have written several blogs about the Yanqihu lake but didn't written about the other side of the lake, the mountains end of the lake. Let's have a walk in the beautiful area.

These mountains are seen from the other side of the Yanqihu Lake Dam, which is the most popular scenic spot of this tourist area. This area is far from there, and very few people come to this remote location, and there is also no public transportation in this area.
