Mountain Travel Adventure, Exploring The Bandera Mountain In Barangay Paniangan, Manticao Misamis Orient

Everybody loves to travel to the fascinating and beautiful place, and it keeps us more relaxing by doing it. I have an adventurous times this morning when me and my Brother decided to do mountain hike adventure. Bandera mountain is one of the highest mountain found in Barangay Paniangan, Manticao Misamis Oriental. And this place is owned by my GrandParents who lives already in Cagayan de Oro City. For me, this article of mine is very special because I can be abled to share the amazing sceneries in Bandera Mountain.

There are 3 Parts of the mountain we can see here and each place owned by different people and all of them are my Grandparents. I already have plans to visit this place but it's still postponed due to a busy situations. So I will start to take you a nice tour in Bandera Mountain.

Even if the place is very mountainous, still there are electricity found in here. This will be very helpful to all residents from far away areas to have electricity in their houses. This is very challenging to all electric cooperatives because it is very difficult to put an electric post in here and it needs to lift using a company chopper.

It was very hit and sunny day during our travel and as we arrived near at Bandera Peak, I noticed this wide areas and it I found out that this is the excavating areas owned by A company here in Misamis Oriental. They load tons of silica stones from that place and transported it to other place.

This wide plains below owned by A private Highschool here in Manticao. They planted more grains so that they can support the foods special rice for the boarders in the school. From here in the peak near at bandera point, we can see how big and wide the rice field is and it can be found near at the National Road in Manticao.

We traveled many hours before we finally arrived at the place. This is the Bandera peak and through here, we can see how beautiful the entire Barangay Poblacion Manticao is. Some of the animal raisers put their cows here to feed grass but because of intense heat, the grass was slowly dried and withered. I totally see in actual the beauty of the place and some of the houses built below. This area is really perfect for raising cows and goats in this area.

There are lots of big and old trees found in the place. Some of this are Balete tree and Macao tree. There are lots of birds flying around in this big trees and the birds enjoyed in the place.

On the other side of the mountains is this vast of cogon Grass. This is very perfect to all farm raising animals just like cows and goats. The first time I saw this mountain below, it was just like a plain grass but as I went in the areas, the grass was actually tall. The wind blows this grass and it creates a blowing sounds and it was very relaxing.

From other side of the place, we can see this color white structures and this is the National Highschool in Manticao. Because of the highest place in Bandera peak, we can truly see the entire place and it was just like we are in the Paradise.

These road trail leads to the Bandera Peak and it was already covered with cogon grass. Last year, the Bikers perform their bike trail here and they showed their best skills of riding bikes. The road trail is consists of peebles and big stones that is why it is really challenge for the bikers to crossed this place.

The Sea can also be seen up from here and we can the see that calmness of the sea. I can truly say that this place is just like Paradise and it is not impossible that many people would really love to come and explored these highest peak.

Most of the houses built near at the peak are made of light materials just like Bamboos and round lumbers. The house are very small but very unique. The example of the house found here is this one, but it was already abandoned by the owner and they decided to transfer to other place. I found very unique about this house and I was very amazed of it.

I really had and enjoyable and fun time during our mountain escapade and I really thankful to my Brother who is with me during my travel adventure. If we really keep our place take cared and responsibilities to take care of it, we can experience the beautiful and relaxing surroundings.
