Creative Sunday | I made my sisters beautiful peplum blouse for Christmas carol service

Hello and Merry Christmas everyone, I know Christmas is tomorrow, but hey, are we not all in the Christmas mood already, so here I am wishing everyone a happy merry Christmas.

It is the season of love, joy, and laughter, I hope we are all spreading the joy all around to those around us, you don't need to have much to spread love Joy and laughter, a little show of care, helping you old neighbour clear the lawn, pay for someone's lunch or dinner is enough to put a smile on their faces, Just find the little way you fit in.

As for me, it's been a stressful month, from making dresses non-stop, throughout this month to participating in the tasking Zealy challenge which ended yesterday, it isn't easy, but thank God it ended in joy as we look forward to our yummy prizes this Christmas.

My own little way of spreading joy is by making beautiful outfit, and today, I will be sharing with us the making process of the peplum close I made for my sisters which is the uniform required for them for our today's carol service in church, they belong to the church's choir group, and it was an exciting time celebrating Christmas in church today.

Without further ado, let's get down to the making process.

Materials used

Making Process

Step 1

I started by drafting the front pattern of the blouse and also the back pattern.

Step 2

Next, I turned the front and back with it's replicated lining to give it a clean finishing

Step 3

I cut out the plain black material in fold which I would be adding round the neckline.

Step 4

I measured round the neckline from the hem, and sewed the black folded material round

Step 5

I pleated the peplum areas, after cutting out the required length, I also tripled the waist measurement to to get the needed width enough for pleating.

Your sister must be lucky to have you. The one I managed and bought, I gave it to a tailor and up till now the tailor is not done with my Christmas dress

Ha ha, I guess they are, chai! I try to avoid disappointing people, so if I can't meet up, I won't bother collecting the fabric
