I would like to create an Emergency Health app to solve some health emergencies and bridge some gaps in our health care delivery system.
A lot of casualties have been recorded due to untimely reception of First aids and medical attentions.

One of the services of the App will be the location of the nearest hospital. This will help a lot in cases of road traffic accidents, heart attacks etc.
My friend, Okwy had an accident while traveling some months ago, he sustained some injuries (joint dislocation). Other passengers also sustained various injuries, some were quite serious and needed urgent medical attention.
He told me that they spent about two hours looking for the nearest hospital to attend to them. Some passenger that were bleeding were at the verge of losing their lives before they finally located a primary health care facility where they were attended to.
This situation is almost a daily occurrence in Nigeria. With the availability of an App with such services, it would have saved them the time to get to the nearest hospital and get the necessary services.

Another service it will render is Ambulance services. Some medical emergencies requires ambulance for timely health delivery. The app can call the closet ambulance in the vicinity and help save lives. In some cases where certain first aid must be administered immediately, a doctor can be contacted through the App ( voice call or chat) to get some advice on how to save life.
I remember Dr. Okeke, he had a cardiac arrest and the people around him did not have an idea of what to do to resuscitate him. They were busy looking for a car to take him to the hospital instead of giving him CPR. Dr. Okeke did not make it because nobody around him had the necessary information needed at the time.
The Emergency Health app will provide such information from the health care professionals and save lives.

Again, there are certain health tips that app will offer as a guide to living healthy lives and most importantly prevent certain health risks.
Some lifestyle are complicit to certain health challenges like diabetes, obesity etc
The health App will provide the necessary tips to manage such challenges.

In some cases, there are certain medications that are not easily available. They are not in high demand but are very necessary in some medical cases. It is always frustrating for some caregivers searching for such drugs.
A friend called me from Abuja, he has been looking for a serum prescribed for his brother in the entire city to no avail. It was demoralising and frustrating for him. An app like this is a click away from accessing such rare medications.

I chose this emergencies health app creation to help emergencies cases whereby reaching the nearest ambulance or getting in touch with health personnel swiftly can save a life, cases of people losing there life's just because there wasn't any swift action would eventually dissolve.
