Accept both compliments and criticism. It takes both sun and rain for a flower to grow. By Myvoicevibes

Seeing and correcting other people's mistakes can sometimes be very easy for us than receiving criticism from our critics. But a wise person shouldn't take constructive criticism for an offense unless of course it is done in a demeaning way.

In my response to this week's Ladies of hive contest 85

How do you handle corrections or criticisms from other people?

I realize a long time ago that I'm not perfect, and people can sometimes have a different opinion from mine in most cases and also I can use this to my advantage.

How

When someone corrects my mistake, I simply try to see things from the person's perspective, learn and correct myself where necessary. This way I grow and become a better version of myself.

Have said all these, it is important to know when to ignore your critics.

The earlier we realized that not everyone will always have to agree with us the better, and that does not make them a bad person sometimes we can learn our best lessons from people that disagree with us. I think that life will be so boring if everyone sees things the same way. There are beauty, power, and fun in different perspectives.
If no one criticizes me, I might not know what I needed to improve on, and why I need to improve on myself or work. So, I always welcome critics. However, it makes things better when is constructive.

Do not just point out where I'm lacking but what I can do to be better. I still remember my first weeks on hive, I was a total noob, but never afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Looking back now, I'm glad I kept on moving even when I knew I knows very little I kept on showing up and doing things in any better ways I can.

Like my mom will tell me, "if you don't take steps even when you know you don't know it all, you will never learn and be better."

I'm ever ready to receive criticism and corrections for my mistakes, that is how I get better. I view the world from just one side and through others different options I get to see and know more.

I'm inviting @megpeters to Join us at ladies of hive community.

Thank you and do have a beautiful time at your end❤

They literally have attempeted my murder and are trying to kill me with V2K and RNM. Five years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism ..... https://ecency.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem

I really liked that thought: "It takes sun and rain for a flower to grow".

Beautiful.

I think the same way, I accept constructive criticism, because it allows us to make an introspection of ourselves and realize what our faults are.

Destructive criticism, I listen to it and analyze it and I keep what helps me to grow and improve. With what adds to me.

But I stay away from what hurts me, because even if it is true that a flower needs rain and sun to grow, it would not be good for it if they throw poison at it.

I liked your entry. I wish you much success.

sometimes we are so involved in our affairs that we do not see that we are wrong, criticism helps that. Thanks for sharing 😊

I am glad that you welcome corrections and view them as sources of learning to improve yourself :) And this is very true:

The earlier we realized that not everyone will always have to agree with us the better,

Learning or realizing this will keep us from being too defensive when receiving corrections or criticisms from other people. Because whether we like it or not, we all have different opinions, ideas, thoughts or ways of doing things but just because we do them differently doesn't mean we are wrong :)

Thank you @ifarmgirl

At the initial stages, I could get a little upset but as I grow older I have come to learn to accept criticism when the need be and do things better.

I welcome criticism too, in fact, on my last birthday, I told my friends to criticize me, and I discovered areas I needed to work on which was ignored before.

That is right, sometimes we need to see the world through the eyes of others.

The more we know that everyone will not agree to our opinion the better for us... Thank you for the write up
