Introducing PEPT Token for our new traffic exchange community

Hello everyone,

I have been with Hive just around a month now and I have learned a lot and confirmed how little I know in the big picture. lol

I am slowly learning all the potential benefits for moving my online business from web2 to web3. I will need lots of help so if your into sharing for a mutual benefit then let's generate some synergy.

I wamt to thank the team at #CTP and #CTPX for their continued guidance. I see much potential and growth in using Xplore Content Delivery platform. Also, their Click Track Profit training and branding platform can serve members well when it comes to moving from a web2 world to web3 world.

A New Traffic Exchange Community

There, I will share the progress of my project I created as part of my research into generating revenue streams using manual traffic exchange sites.

Today marks a new beginning for expanding into the token economy. This will help grow sales once again. You see, a few years ago, Paypal froze many accounts that were from trusting and loyal customers. So I have had to look at providing other choices and Hive is an excellent plaform to expand into the crypto economy.

I have reviewed a lot of material here on Hive and I know I will need some expertise in several areas. A priority area of expertise required is building the traffic exchange community blog for sharing and rewarding quality content.

Welcome to Hive. From my experience in Web2 circles, traffic exchanges aren't that effective. It's better to produce great content and network with other Hive community members.

Time to re-define what traffic exchange means.

I don't disagree with you. I have captured that sentiment and I have connected dots that point to this inherent problem based on today's flow of traffic compared to 20+ years ago.

Much of the negative energy or foul taste in someone's mouth when it comes to the effectiveness of a traffic exchange is because of people abusing technology for a fast buck versus the need for continuous improvement in the tools necessary to support a vibrant marketplace.

We don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water. I see poor quality content in web3 circles. There is always a percentage of the population that demands a fast buck. They can create a lot of noise in existing system that have long term goals and objectives.

Time to disrupt the traffic exchange world. I think much bigger than a cookie cutter script designed to make money from selling overpriced affiliate upgrades and traffic. Have to consider the impact and culture created by corporations like Google and Paypal when it comes to deciding who sees what? And for what purpose?

In all my years of trouble shooting problems and getting at the root cause of problems, culture is the most challenging and time consuming improvement initiative.

Again. I don't disagree, I mostly agree with your statement. My focus is to make it more effective, efficient and inclusive. As-Is, it is a very serotyped ecosystem. I have gotten a lot of negative energy from existing site owners, members and staff of script producer. Mostly because I criticize existing usage of technology. People are being people, some have built-in filters, it is natural to defend a comfort zone. i have seen it before in the many process improvement initiatives I have encountered.

I will be publishing material that will hopefully help in shifting some thinking as it comes to exchanging traffic between interested parties.

Fantastic to hear that you have made a Traffic Exchange community and are looking to make a token as well @fjworld, from my experience a high price compared to the value of keeping the token (for example you buying a lot of tokens from the market) makes people want to sell it, what you need to identify is the objective value of keeping/staking the token (for example staking rewards, diesel pools with rewards, an active community, curation projects, etc), and then keep adding value there, that will make people want to buy it instead, good luck with it and stay awesome.

We may have a different perspective on the purpose of taking a position in a marketplace.
Who knows for sure what one is thinking when it comes to trading something based on perceived value. I didn't think I bought a lot but the word lot is relative. !LOLZ

I am just getting started so I took interest in the tokens that looked good to me. I reviewed the provided information and got familiar with trading patterns. I staked some tokens for various reason. Mostly for longer term value. Depending on what the future brings I can see staking more, I have not decided about delegating yet and generally I am very cautious, mostly avoid, pools, funds and similar investment vehicles.

I did create the #pept token and I created a couple of other accounts. Slowly I will add more content to the traffic exchange community. I am looking to attracting folks across many communities.

I still have to finalize what the price of the pept token will be coming out of the gate.

Maybe you missunderstood what I was talking about, I meant your own token PEPT and not other tokens, that is where those apply to what you do with it, and what value other people see in it, good luck.

I do look for fundamentals that define a book value no matter what token I look at and that will be the same for pept.

We need to get the "old guard" of the TE world to discover Hive.
The time is now for them to move to a true Web3 platform.

I understand the Paypal debacle caused several good programs to end.

The sites that have survived need to do business on a De-centralized platform where no one can stop them from doing business.

Jack, you are well-known and trusted in the TE World, and I feel that you will successfully onboard businesses to Hive.

Hey John, thanks for stopping by.

My goal is to cause a shift and disruption in existing thinking of a traffic exchange community. Change is a slow and challenging process for many people. I have a good understanding of the As-Is situation in the existing Manuel Traffic Exchange world. I know many site owners of LFMTE script, I have competed with many top surfers and I have challenged the script owner as per improvements. In 2016 when I got started with the idea of rewarding members via revenue sharing units, today called project units (token), I want was overly criticized. A great indicator that I was on the right journey. !lol

There are several impediments for existing web2 site owners in moving to a web3 platform. Payment processing being at the top of the list.
