LOVE TO BE PROTECTED

Love means a lot and is everything. My sincere gratitude goes to the management of this prestigious community for putting up a lovely theme for this edition. It's timely and also propped me to slide into my reservoir of thought to fetch fee stuff to drop here. It has been a moment of glory and joy participating in all these prompts.

The subject for discussion in this edition I decided to titled it love to be protected. I can't dispute the fact that there are different perspective to what love really entails. There are different theories and books that talks about love however I intend to share my kind of dimension and I hope it will add a quantum leap to your understanding.

There were different experiences that made me give my all and almost died for an individual. The true life story I would like to share was what transpired before I got wedded to my lovely wife. Immediately I made my intention know by unleashing my marital manifesto, she seconded with permission to go and seek the face of God in the place of prayer. Don't laugh oooo because this kind of process differs to every marital home. I was excited when she said yes to me and decided to go with me and pursue God's vision over my life together.

Though she said yes but yet there were certain things I never knew of like her state of origin and other information. I never considered that as a yardstick for marriage anyways. That was what I told myself that I want to just marry perfect will of God for my not a tribe or a particular culture more so most of my life wasn't within my state of origin. I was determined to move with the lady that fears God and would help me fulfil the will of God over my life. All this while I was thinking she hails from the far northern part of Nigeria unknown to me she's from the east. I was not distracted at all instead I remained more focused since this is the will of God for me.

Love to be protected. Whatever you love, you can die for it. You can sacrifice every possible resources to sustain it. In the course of my courtship,I had to stand out to defend what I cherished. At some points it appears as if I was the only one standing simply because of the cross cultural marriage I desired. I had to unleash all reasons and share clearly my conviction with parents and friends even when they seemed to be opposing but glory be to God for the clarity that came later.

I paid the sacrifice to endure all the blame even during the traditional rites. God helped me I was able to protect my love diligently. I was almost rejected from my in-laws because I hail from the north however God took over and today it's a different thing. Once you are convinced over a thing, stand firm to pursue it to the later. I urge you to stay tuned because very soon I will share more during my wedding anniversary next month.
