Hi lovely hivers,
It's good to be back again to participate in the first edition of the 31st week contest. I remain grateful to all the organisers for their resilience in consistently bringing this contest. I pray God to bless you.
It's a lovely day with great topic set before us for this week. The centre of the discussion is on intelligence. I would define this key word and shade light on my understanding about this. I will also share what's the yardstick to measure intelligence.
What does intelligence means?
Intelligence is the ability or capacity to proffer solution to difficult problems.
Intelligence entails the application of knowledge, skills in order to create good answers to a precised problem.
Intelligence is the use of passion, inquiry ability, to achieve results.
- I would like to quickly highlight what makes people intelligent. Affection, Curiousness, and ability to learn new things.
My perspective
I want to say that intelligence could be natural and can be acquired. There are individuals that are naturally intelligent may be due to their father or mother or family trend. I have seen a family that this trait was transferred successfully to about three generations. They all had outstanding records both in academics and other endeavors of life. They don't struggle to read or do any thing.
While the other dimension of intelligence is actually acquired and developed which many fall under this category.
I can say to an extend intelligence is not solidly dependent on the school level of one. There are many that attended school yet don't have capacity to handle and provide adequate solutions to a problem. School is a platform that creates an environment to develop intelligence. School enhances the rate of intelligence.
In as much as school is very important however is not an absolute prerequisites for intelligence.
I personally learned and worked on my intelligence through the help of the school which has really transformed my life.
This knowledge really helped me to handle lots of situation even at my work place.

In essence, intelligence comes from effort and hard work. without it, intelligence will also disappear.

I love the aspect where you talk about school as a platform. That’s just the reality and intelligence is not limited to the four walls of the school alone.

Indeed school helps some people to hone their intelligence while some became intelligent outside the walls of school. School's duty is to educate.
