The Realities of Adulthood: a journey most people didn't plan to face

Greetings my esteemed friends on the Cent community and the hive blockchain. I salute you from this part of the world, saying a big hello to you all.

What's your definition of adulthood? Do you define it as surprise or a period full of responsibilities. Whichever definition you take, it doesn't matter right now, just welcome to the final phase of your life.

I've heard many people saying jokingly that they're regretting not remaining in their childhood days, this is simply because of the imminent surprises they discovered as they moved from childhood into adulthood.

Adulthood the realm of reality, surprises and responsibilities
One of the things that sets in when adulthood is mentioned is paying of bills and continuous responsibilities. It should be noted that not all adults are responsible, most people transcend from being single adults to married adults but aren't responsible in terms of paying the bills.

Many men just go ahead to fulfill the bible passage that says: be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth. Being fruitful means be responsible in taking care of your seeds. Parents owes their children the duty to protect, provide and preserve. Most parents just serve the duty to protect but neglect the provision aspect of their responsibilities.

Being responsible doesn't mean that you should kill yourself in providing the luxuries of life for the family, it actually meeting right basic needs of the family and if need be providing the luxuries of life.

Every home deserves the best in life but not at the expense of the values or morals of the society they come from. What this means is that no parent should go to the extent of being corrupt and stealing to meet up the demands of the family. I know many will not agree with this fact, but that's the truth and reality of life.

Adulthood is actually the time to show how strong you are and how responsible you could be. Avoid unhealthy competitions in the society. This is because, many people you see around you live fake lives. 80% of people on social media platforms live fake lives and send images of what they're not to put you under pressure.

My point here is be a responsible adult nothing more, nothing less.
