Your interest determines your readiness, when I was in secondary school I hated chemistry because of my teacher then, this teacher was very wicked and never made the subject conducive to learn and that was the same energy I took to university, till now I do not like chemistry at all, all because I never develop interest in knowing it

this applies to many students. Teaching can be a stumbling block to learning because I had friends that refused to study science because of our physics teacher..
