From Thoughts, To Happening ; The eerie thought of seeing a snake, to actually seeing one 😅.

Almost everytime I have a particular thinking in my head, it just sort of come to pass. And trust me, this doesn't just happen to only me. Even very close friends have confirmed it once or twice, and I'm so sure you have experienced this too.

Some thoughts are just really random though.
From thinking of transitioning from a relaxed hair to a natural, to me seeing natural hair every where I went to 😅.

Trust me, it was weird. Because I was like, who is in my brain that divulge this information about me transitioning, because tell me why I kept seeing natural hair everywhere I went to.
Lol.

Recently, I had an experience that actually spur this writing.

I had just moved into a new apartment. And it was a first actually.

All my life, or rather since I gained admission into the university, I have always lived in the school hostel. Unfortunately this time around, I balloted for a space just like every other person, but I didn't get a space.

Balloting is a whole lot by the way. Loads of students trying to access the server at the same time in different location, and only about 10% of them getting the space at the end of the day. It is actually a game of "who win, wins"

Not to divert, my new apartment in particular was situated in a corner of the street, lol 😅.

So, there are a little bit of bushes 'here and there' not something big really. It was really manageable.

But for everytime I pass through the lane down to my house, the thought keep dropping in my heart that "I go soon see snake 😭😅."

Really weird, I know.

And it isn't like I actually want to see it, I hate that creature with everything in me 🥺.
But then, my brain just keep shouting we will soon see snake, and snake I saw 🤏.

I got home that day, and decided to say hi to my first flat neighbor. Unknown to me that where I stood talking to her, there was a snake there with me.

Like if I had moved my legs anyhow, I would probably have stepped on the snake.

I gisted with my neighbor for about 10 minutes, and decided to go in to rest after a long day, I haven't even removed my dresses when she shouted my name.

I ran out of the room, because one, there was a level of anxiousness to her shout and she has never called me with so much urgency before.

Immediately I got outside she started shouting "snake snake"

Oh dear!

If it were possible for me to climb the ceiling that day, I would gladly do!

Because what! My worst nightmare of a snake is coming to pass in my presence 😅.

In all, I am grateful for my indaboski flatmate who knows how to kill a snake

She killed it successfully and even burnt it.

And I was able to sleep with my eyes closed that night. But with all the light fully on though 🥴😅.

This thing called the mind, it just sort of brings our thoughts to reality. And in that stead, I told myself to think only good thoughts because why not?

If my thoughts can come to pass, then there is no harm in thinking only good and beautiful thoughts.
