My sincere appreciation & gratitude to extraordinary individuals with the greatest impact on My Life in 2023

It felt like yesterday that we stepped into 2023, celebrating and showing our gratitude for being privileged to see a New year. slow and steady we moved through different phases of 2023, coping with challenges we never expected or thought was possible. For most of us there were specific individuals who made an impact in our lives, becoming a shoulder to cry on. going out of there way to support us despite going through their own share of difficulty. it might now seem like much but this post is dedicated to those extraordinary individuals who has made 2023 bearable for me.

the beginning of 2023 was not that rosy, I had to bump around trying to make sure my final year project was completed. One thing about this project is that it cost a lot of money, at any point whenever I felt I had nothing left my family has always been there to back me up. they have always been there for me throughout my academic journey. especially when my school delayed my set final semester result for almost a year, most of my colleagues went out to seek Jobs and all.

well I tried too not because I was desperately in need of money to survive but because I just wanted to find something doing to get rid of the boredom. it happens that I did not get lucky enough to get any jobs around my vicinity and I couldn't afford to spend my entire salary on transportation. Though I had my rabbit farm but still wanted more, I guess I'm just like most humans with desires.

_{𝖣𝖾𝗌𝗂𝗀𝗇𝖾𝖽 𝗎𝗌𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝖼𝖺𝗇𝗏𝖺}

The present state of my rabbit farm became possible because of my family, during my Higher national diploma I'm mostly absent from home which means I was not able to manage the affairs of my rabbit farm my self but thanks to my family that make sure my absent in the rabbit farm wasn't felt. it kept growing even when I wasn't around for that I'm extremely grateful. As a result of their contribution towards the growth of my rabbit farm I get to think about expansion and all, in a way they are the major players in ensuring my dreams becomes dreems.

Apart from my family there are few outstanding individuals who have made an impact in my life, this individuals are my friends and colleagues. I was privileged to know them during my higher national diploma, the funny thing about this group is that we have distinctive personality, opinion and religion. typically we have different opinion that goes contrary to each others opinion but for some reasons we remain friends.

we have bumped through hot and cold together especially during data gathering for my project it was one hell of a ride. I had to give each of them a share of my printed questionnaire to distribute at my area of study. the only person missing in the picture is @jewish1352 who seems to be the only one of my close friends that is on hive but has taken a long break hopefully someday he will become active again on hive.

One thing about my life right now is that, there is no way I will talk about myself or career that I would not talk about hive, hive is my life and my life is hive it might sound weird but for some time now my hive career has become my highest priority among all other things that matters and when it comes to talking about my growth on hive there are some outstanding individuals who have been by greatest support over the years on hive.

@Starstrings01, we go way back. he is a friend, a mentor and most importantly he was the one that invited me to hive. There are a lot of ways to learn on hive which I have made emphasis on in one of my post but the truth is life becomes a lot easier if there is someone in your corner to fall back to when things becomes difficult. When it comes to growing on hive blockchain as a newbie it could be very challenging but to an extent I was lucky to be invited by one of the most extraordinary hive user. I have learnt so much from him starting from usage of markdowns and so on. there was something extraordinary he did which is the main reason why my hive account is still active till today.

After I joined hive my major focus was just writing poems, he advised me to check out other communities and increase my engagement but as at then I was not really into the idea of hive blog stuff so I did not listen. which led to me being inactive on hive for almost 2 years but it was not completely inactive, once in awhile I come by and drop a poem then off I go😂.

my hive power was like a constant figure it was really embarrassing 😅. So one day I made up my mind and chatted him up that I'm ready to take my hive career seriously. I discussed with him about somethings that serve as an hindrance for me which decreased the rate at which I engage on hive, immediately he delegated some hive power to me. the funny thing was I knew he would but I felt he shouldn't because back then I did not take my hive growth seriously. so to an extent I felt investing in my hive career was not worth it but he proved me wrong.

He never gave up on me no matter how unserious I was and eventually his determination ended up being a source of motivation. i still run to him anytime I need clarity on anything on hive or I'm in need of something. he is the founder of the newbies- initiative an extension of his determination to help newbies on hive blockchain.

he has also helped me with a lot of things that has nothing to with hive, well that is a story for another day. like I said we go way back. I appreciate all your effort and support boss, I'm glad your investment in me has finally yielded profit 😅.

@Nkemakonam89, I met this exceptional individual through hive learners community and from there we became more than friends, more like a queen and a subject 😂. she is someone with a big heart who is very interested in going extra miles just to help others grow on hive blockchain. She is never tired of answering questions and her DM is open to everyone because she is always ready to help🤗. which is why I call her queen and more😅. I sincerely appreciate your effort and support, it means a lot.

Other exceptional individuals from hive learners includes, @Bruno-kema an individual with a distinctive personality and perception. And @jjmusa2004 it is hard to tell if we are friends because throughout 2023 it has been one competition or the other, so he is more like a competitor but a friendly one😅. this two are one of the reasons I look forward to weekly hangout in hive learners community discord server I appreciate both of you for making my 2023 less burdensome despite my worries.

@dreemsteem, have you ever met someone that seems too extraordinary to be human😅, I met her through #dreemport related activities and challenges, a lot of things have changed about my hive career ever since. though I was a fan of her writings before I get to know her more. I get to know and meet a lot of individuals through her creation #dreemport. spoiler alert❗❗ you can never know her fully because she is full of surprises 😂. @samsmith1971, I met her through dreemport, specifically the dreemport marathon challenge. I was privileged to be on her team with other amazing individuals. during the process of the challenge I have learnt a lot from her, especially the existence of other frontends on hive that can be used to publish post on hive. throughout the dreemport marathon challenge and after, she is still someone I consider to be a mentor.
