MY TIME IS MY MOST VALUABLE ASSET

Yesterday after work at the mill, someone booked me in for an extra hour job , we got into terms and arrived at the time which was scheduled at the early hours of today before the main factory work commences, I had to double confirm the time which he affirms.

As early as i woke up before my alarm rings got ready and left for work got to the factory about 6:15Am which was the stipulated time we both agreed, stayed up to about 10:45 am by then the factory main working hours has started an hour ago, this got me so pissed off as to why people can’t really stay true to time or go out the words of their mouth.

I’m someone who hates disappointments With passion that’s why I can go selfless just to fulfill every promise made, I feel it’s gives credibility, honor and respect to the words of my mouth, yah I’m really the man of my words who means everything he says and does not what he means when he says it

I understand the fact that back here in Africa the concept of time is still a mirage to many except for the fact that they just want to know what says the time and all of that, it totally freaks me out when people don’t man up to the things they say meanwhile I’m on the other side thinking what if I don’t do it, the things the would be affected and the aftermath of my negligence,

Time is of the essence to me and I surely understand how I can apply every second to manage my daily routines properly,

There’s a notion that says time is money and not everybody truly understands this concept of translating time into money by diligently and judiciously making good use of the time, it’s more than just getting off the bed and kick off the day by engaging in some activities then return home to eat and sleep and repeat the same day after day and so on

After all and said this said person came very late by now I was already engaged in another work and pleased with me to help him out and explaining what transpired for the reason why he came late, I was as always vexed and I wouldn’t give him a listening ear, that’s because I value my time and the same nice he missed the appointment as scheduled.

Regardless of whether time is money, if you have an appointment booked, it’s just blatantly rude to not turn up, or to turn up late, without letting the other people involved know beforehand. Certainly, there are extenuating circumstances, but these would be extreme events of which someone has absolutely no control over.

I understand how you might feel annoyed over being left to wait as you were and can understand why you would’ve put your time to something more productive.
