"Legends Are Not Born, Legends Have to Become." (Danial D. Barrick)

These are the final words of Danial D. Barrick father of Ivan Barrick, a half-human and a half-Brurial.

The first Australian Drought Catastrophe (ADC-I) had almost wiped out 75% of the population from the island continent, and there was barely any sign of any living thing. Food scarcity grew fear of cannibalism among surviving humans, which forced Danial and his family to hide in an underground bunker somewhere in the Tanami Desert. Danial was a Captain in AuSpace, an independent organization that excelled in space exploration, the bunker was built close to a rocket launchpad and an airport.

When they found out that ADC-I had claimed the life of all AuSpace employees, they decided to flee Australia through an abandoned spacecraft. Danial contacted an American space colony through a special satellite built by AuSpace and RASA together for a space colonization project, he told them that he would travel to AmCol-X along with his family and arrive there within 2 weeks, he was permitted to enter the colony but also warned about growing Reptiloid attacks on spacecraft traveling around AmCol-X.

Danial boarded the spacecraft with Galata and Ivan, and with the auto-launch sequence system the rocket took off in the air, and they were across the Karman Line within 3 minutes and their 2-week-long journey had just begun.

As the spacecraft reached AmCol-X, he informed the control about his position and requested to lower the force shield and open the landing bay.

The Control responded, "Captain Danial, your spacecraft's coordinates are confirmed, landing permission has been granted, force-shield is lowered for 30 sec, head over to landing bay."

As he moved towards the landing bay, 2 huge Reptiloid Jackpullers appeared above them, they beamed 2 magnetic pulses on the spacecraft jamming its electronic systems. Daniel lost contact with the Control, he saw the force shield had been restored, and the pulses were pulling them back to Jackpullers.

Ivan observed the situation and said "Mum, Dad, listen to me, we are in a horrible situation, and we will face it all together.", then he put on his hands on his mother's face, "Mum, you are a Blurian and a Blurian can teach anything to another Blurian with its mental feed, teach me the combat training and survival skills by connecting with my mind, and I'll protect you."

Galata replied while wiping her tears "Ivan, you are half human and half Blurian, I can't take the risk of damaging your brain, the process takes a second in real life, but your feelings will be real as if you were in a real combat situation. No! it's too dangerous."

"Mum, see we don't know what lies ahead, they might kill us, therefore it is better to fight and try to survive, we have no time to think."

Danial told Galata while comforting her "He is right, we are running out of time and we don't know what happens next.", he took a deep breath and said, "Galata, teach him everything he needs to survive in the space, he is my son and he is as strong as me, go for the mental feed."

"Ivan, my son, look into my eyes, and remember whatever you see, just don't close your eyes, if you do, your mind will remain in limbo."

Galata held his son's hands and looked into his eyes, she started the mental feed, Ivan's eyeballs popped out a little, he found himself in an empty room, suddenly he saw shelves popping out from the walls, he heard a computerized voice, "First wear the combat suit, then pick a weapon of your choice.", he wore a combat suit and picked a gun named Savage. A door opened "Enter the combat zone, then aim and shoot any drone that appears.", it was holographic target practice, he passed that level and moved on to the next level.

As the combat level advanced, he started to learn new skills and he became more accustomed to battle tactics. He learned almost everything from physical combat to covert operations.

Galata also taught him about teleportation, using drones, EMPs, and other necessary pieces of training required to become a combat specialist. As she knew that he had learned everything he needed to survive, she slowly drew his attention back to his father, "Danial, he is now combat-ready, give him the Savage, and let's fight together."

Their spacecraft was pulled inside a hollow chamber, they equipped themselves with ammo and weapons. Danial lifted the exit door, Ivan looked around and said, "Mum, Dad, get out of the spacecraft, and take cover."

A door opened, some drones entered the chamber and zoomed out their scanner cams, their x-ray vision detected weapons, threat level triggered, and they started shooting in the direction of the spacecraft.

Ivan ducked under the spacecraft and started shooting the drones, "Dad, through an EMP, it will give us some time to stop them and we'll run towards the gate."

Danial threw an EMP, and the drones were shocked for a short while, as they crossed opened gate, a turret started shooting them, Danial was hit by a volley of bullets, he fell to the ground, and Galata fired laser shots at the turret and turned it into molten iron, Ivan quickly downed all electrocuted drones to clear the area of any danger.

Galata held Danial's head into her lap and was crying so desperately, "Don't worry, we'll save you, Ivan, bring the medkit from the spacecraft."

Danial grabbed Ivan's hand "Sonny, my time is over, now it's your time.", he screamed in pain and said, "Save your mother, and go back to AmCol-X.", he wailed as his soul was forcing hard to leave his body, "Be a legend, my son, because, Legends Are Not Born, Legends Have to Become.".

Somehow, Ivan managed to kill all the drones in the Jackpuller, took control of the ship, Galata recoded Jackpuller's braindom with their spacecraft, and returned to AmCol-X with glory.

Ivan Barrick was known as a legend as his father dreamed of, and he started chasing off hostile forces in space to save the human race.

SAVAGE

A small pulsating gun, which is designed by Dr. Roland Reese, who is the director of RASA's Space Combat Program. The Savage is good for close combat maneuvers. It is also used for combat training and simulation battles. The weapon is very simple in construction and can be easily reloaded during combat.

SEQUEIRA

When RASA was building AmCol-X in the outer orbit of Mars, it raised the need for an efficient transportation service to deliver souls, construction material, machinery, and other earthly organisms to the colony project.

RASA contracted Grande Aeronáutica, a Portuguese firm, to build some fuel-efficient transportation spaceships to cope with the swift transfer of goods and humans.

Grande Aeronáutica delivered a mid-ranged weapon class spaceship to RASA after 5 years of research and manufacturing time. It was named after a Portuguese city "Sequeira" because it was exactly sized the city's area.

In her first flight, Sequeira carried around 15,000 souls and 100,000 tons of goods for AmCol-X project, which speeded up the project's construction.

Sequeira is equipped with 4 laser cannons and also carries fighter drones. Other features include a force shield, a guided missile system, and threat detectors to defend the spaceship from hostile attacks.
