Radical Onboarding

Yesterday we travelled again to Murillo, the site of our last great tourism post, and a small town that once was part of Libano, but seperated into its own municipality in the 90's. Home to high mountain ecosystems that are unique in the world, and protected and need to be protected regions responsible for the fresh water of dozens of municipalities and millions of people.

We travelled up the mountain through curvy roads with lots of road construction, just over an hour for what the sign says is 21km.

We took the 'bus', a community service Toyota Hi-Lux also transporting a few other people and all the supplies for Don Adriano to fix up his house.

We did it to meet with Breyler, now @espeletiatrips.

Breyler is an important actor here, as someone who studied with and became a certified tour guide in the same program as my wife @ecoinstante, he runs one of the most active tour operators that travel into these protected and important ecosystems with tourists from around the world.

Check out his first post for a glimpse at some stunning pictures.

Here's a picture of him writing that post on peakd through the HIVE Keychain mobile app. Our onboarding is getting better than ever, thanks to people like @stoodkev , @jarvie and @asgarth. I couldn't do this work without them.

(Please reach out to me because we need spanish language options for both apps, I can help translate if you need).

The mission in these mountains is sustainable development (our @quintaesencia NGO), its also tourism (@ecobanker), but its also more than both. I don't have all my cards in place yet, but I will say this is one of the most important onboardings we have ever done, for our community, for HIVE.

Give @espeletiatrips a follow, some support, and keep an eye on what we are doing, because I think I have a brilliant idea not just to change the world, but to market Hive big-time.

Follow along!

Great onboarding.

Hive is diverse, holding a scope for every field of life, but for a tour guide the scope is quite wide. Photography, life experiences, adventures, and explaination of arenas and areas are the things that welcomes with open arms on the platform

It sounds like you had a great day in Murillo! The photos you shared are stunning, and I can see why you're so passionate about protecting these ecosystems.

It's also great to hear that you're working with Breyler to onboard him onto Hive. His first post is beautiful, and I'm sure he'll be a great asset to the community.

I'm excited to see what you have planned for the future, and I'll definitely be following along!

I myself am very fond of going on such a long journey, especially the way we see in the pictures, there are many scenic views, seeing such a place gives a lot of peace to one's mind and one is very relaxed. Enjoys more.
