You might not get the opportunity again

Family is a beautiful thing, and we don't always know how beautiful it is until we go out into the world That's when we know how Great our family is, but there is always this urge of leaving our family, especially when we started making money.

Many individuals don't leave home to step out of their comfort zone and pursue personal growth. Rather, they leave home because they have the financial means to rent an apartment. Additionally, it's important to note that leaving home doesn't necessarily equate to building something for oneself.

I think people leave their families for many reasons, and I will touch on some of the reasons today. One of the obvious reasons why people just want to leave their family is freedom, especially when they've not experienced it before.

Freedom is not always what it seems

Since childhood, I've always had the freedom to do what I want. As I mentioned in my previous post, I'm not often restricted. My friends, on the other hand, don't have the same luxury. Their parents are constantly monitoring their every move and providing constant guidance. However, there comes a point in every teenager's life when it becomes exhausting.

Most people always look for opportunities to leave their family at any chance because they want to be free, especially if they have a friend like me. They want to experience freedom, not knowing that freedom most times is not what it is and If it's not handled properly can destroy someone's life.

I want it back

Another reason why people just want to leave their family is because of sanity. The truth is each family has different complications. What I mean by complication is that no family is perfect. There is always one thing or the other that is not right about one's family, and most of these things always get to us mentally, that is why people always run away from their families and not because they don't love them more, but because they just want to have that mental cleanness.

I have a friend who always mentions that he doesn't want to go home because there is always one problem or the other in his family, and all these things always get to him. Most of the time, he is not always productive at home. Most people are like this, they are not always productive when they are at home, just because of the negative energy around the family, which often affects our productivity.

Broken but perfect

If You don't have any tangible reasons to leave home I don't think you should, if it is just because of freedom or changing of environment those reasons are not good enough to leave our family because we can always use them as the source for us to grow and what I mean by that is that it is easy for us to grow when our family is around us.

Making hasty decisions between leaving our family and pursuing growth can often lead to negative consequences. Although staying in our comfort zone can be risky, it is crucial to take advantage of the opportunities we have with our family. It's essential not to take these opportunities for granted and instead make the most of them.

Some of us don’t know

Some of us believe that the food we eat at home, the shelter, parental guidance, and the love we receive for our family are nothing because we are already used to it, but when we leave home and go into a world where survival is all that matters, everything we are getting is not there again because now we must work for every penny, We now understand the impact, the growth, and everything our family has done for us.

Some individuals will argue that it is our parent's right to do everything for us. However, some of these individuals are unaware of the sacrifices that our parents make to provide us with the life we presently enjoy. In contrast, some people want to distance themselves from their families at every chance they get because of stupid reasons which is not advisable. It is not wrong to leave one's family, but it should be done at the appropriate time when you are confident enough to manage on your own.

The last part hits harder and I think we sure can learn a lot from the outside world by leaving home. But then, we can learn so much more by staying with family and growing resilience over their criticism and complains that might gets to us sometimes.

Exactly, I believe that they want the best for us and instead of taking this as negativity we should use it to fuel our desire and passion.

You are right about this, it is our parents right to cater for our needs to some level but once it reaches to a certain stage it is never their rights and that is where we have to seek freedom, freedom to work, freedom to learn and grow, freedom to appreciate what our parents went through just to make we were okay. Anything outside this freedom is not freedom.

I think it's tough because being free and leaving to work on your own is a tough decision. You don't know what will happen and the unknown scares people. Staying with your family is better to some people because they already know about what might happen.
