Aaron Korsh consiguió vender el guion del piloto de la serie en el año 2010 a la cadena USA Network, que encargó su filmación y posteriormente una primera temporada de 12 episodios.Aaron fue forzado por la cadena a compartir la dirección de la serie, con otro productor más veterano, para controlar mejor su trabajo, hasta que al final de la primera temporada, le dejaron llevar las riendas en solitario de la serie, con la gran mejora que se ve conforme avanza las temporadas.

Y que a pesar de conocer la mentira de su protegido lo defiende a toda costa.
