PRESSURE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PERFECTION:

Responsibilities grant us deep dive into the circumstances where we are breathless. Pressure, this condition is encountered by each of us. Sometimes it's the element that makes us strong and other times it's the only thing that breaks us into vulnerable versions. In the place where I persist (not preferred by my own will), boys face a lot of intimidation, and one of them is "perfection". A boy who is nurtured in an environment where siblings are prevalent and no matter how much he makes an effort to showcase a manly attitude, he is always suppressed. Being a single boy makes you entangled in trouble where society is looking forward to you for everything.

WHAT DOES IT COST?

You have to hold up the pressure of responsibility. You can't have fun in life as it's forbidden. Each time you are targeted for manners and I guess many of us relinquish our childhood as we have to pretend to be mature. And time drops anchor when we are mature, at that moment we have to fake wisdom and strength. So where is our good time forfeited?? Who can give us back the exemplary memories which were never earned or left under pressure?

FRANKENSTEIN CONTROLLING US:

Perfection or protection, have you heard these phrases ruin lives? I suppose yes you are safeguarding yourself from hostiles (which are given an account by your parents or friends). Will you be able to acknowledge the truth?? If you are recommended in some activity, reckon in childhood I was told that if you play in the evening under the trees any conjurer will slaughter you. Later I comprehended that no conjurer was involved in it. Co2 was responsible for the death. Same misconception about watching cartoons (I am referring to things on a diminutive scale, might have been advised to stay away from activities and boys but your curiosity made you a victim of all this). So in simple words, we remain unassailable to attain perfection. But in the meantime, we have renounced our own levity under the pressure.

IMPOSING BY CONTROLLING:

Pressure to acquire good grades, we all have confronted this condition at each step of our life. Good character, good grades, good job, and what to do with all this good when you are grinding each day under the pressure of anxiety and stress. I support things should be done by your own will not because others sense they are adequate for you (Brown families choosing the profession of yours because of scope, choosing a life partner for you as they have reasonable terms with them)

CLOSING THOUGHTS:

So in all this war for goodness and perfection, what happens to our mental health is noticeable. Credit goes to the pressure which is implemented by our society or by ourselves. Have you pressured yourself in life??? My comment section is awaiting your response.

The pressure to acquire good grades is another type of pressure students suffer, it takes a lot to make good grades.

You have made a good point especially that part that has to do with parents choosing their children's path.
It's always about how the parents would feel in the midst of their peers and never about how the child feels.
Thank you for sharing.

I have seen some parents put a lot of pressures on their children all because of an unnecessary healthy competition amongst parents. Instead of realizing that every child is different and approach each child with wisdom and support.
Everyone experience this life pressure, even the children and the adults

Peer pressure is something that is really killing the youth and we need to be vigilant with the kind of friends we do follow and listen to. Thanks for sharing this article with us. Good luck in this contest

Sometimes it's the element that makes us strong and other times it's the only thing that breaks us into vulnerable versions

Pressure can be positive or negative in our lives.
When you said it's the element that makes of strong, I relate it to our Responsibilities and how we are under pressure to meet up with them which is fine. Alot of us are working hard due to the pressure at the background however, peer pressure can make one vulnerable to negativities if care is not taken

You have highlighted a very important topic. If I compare Pakistan, where I grew up, and Sweden, where my children are growing up, I feel that there is an element of responsibility and pressure in both societies, the only difference is that in our society we often It has to be faced from an early age. While here after spending school age. This has both positive and negative sides, for example, in our society, children are used to taking stress, but here, due to the sudden responsibility, some of them are not able to handle this sudden pressure. I consider myself lucky in this matter. My parents were strict but there was never any pressure, be it studies, job or marriage, we had every right to express our opinion. My mother says that we have a democracy in our house and we have every right to disagree. In those days, playing music was considered a bad, but thanks to my parents I was able to take guitar classes. Today I am a father of three children and when I compare myself to my parents, I am more difficult for my children. But even today there is democracy in my house, where every member of the house has full right to speak and express their opinion.
It is common in our society to present our children as examples. We do this for the benefit of our own neighborhood, relatives, and society at large. By doing so, we can take pride in our upbringings and be appreciated by the world around us. It is important to remember that while our children may be seen as exemplars by others, they are still human beings with their own unique needs and wants. It is crucial that we not lose sight of this fact, or we risk putting undue pressure on them. We must strike a balance between showing them off to the world and letting them simply be themselves.

Hi shahzad-ansari, I hope you are doing well. Thanks for your detailed feedback, it really means alot to me. Apologize for the delay in replying to you, you already know I was busy these days and especially was out of city also for few days. Coming back to your feedback.

I feel that there is an element of responsibility and pressure in both societies

I have a friend in UK (he is my friend since he is 13 @astrocat-3663). He once shared with me about how it's normal for people to work in restaurants as it's a regular practice in foreign countries. While a society is learning alot and being professional with the same activity, it's near to a taboo in the other society. Get good grades and don't think about earning cause when you earn, you loose focus on studies. While in foreign they think a person adopt responsibility and built his character with this new exposure.
Also, we have to kept in mind both are not same in different societies. We can observe exposure to earning also means usage of Tobacco or other harmful things (high chances when they work as a salesman especially in karachi). It's a very Risky and debatable topic when taking decisions about our loved ones or setting a culture or standard for our love once to adopt, follow or get inspiration from. All this falls into gray area cause Pakistan is too multi cultural.

My mother says that we have a democracy in our house and we have every right to disagree

My family also says and preaches this democracy but then again I myself is against the idea of democracy as you can observe the implementation of democracy is change from case to case. Also in 9th class we teach our youth about democracy in Islam in crouse material while democracy is not a part of Islam (we can further discuss this later about how or I will write on request).

they are still human beings with their own unique needs and wants

Well said, I am proud friend of yours to see your children involve in alot of curricular activities. It's good that they r increasing their vocabulary, writing and art while having a chance to earn from it. Atleast they r not doing other wierd stuff this generation is doing. Still, it's their choice even if they do.

playing music was considered a bad, but thanks to my parents I was able to take guitar classes

We must strike a balance between showing them off to the world and letting them simply be themselves.

We all have to do our part in this. I believe I contributing alot in few sectors of society. Also, good wishes for you and your family. See u around on hive.
