Der Oktober bringt jede Menge Action in Upland. Gleich zum Auftakt gab es heute erneut einen MV Motors Car Sale. Des weiteren findet diese Woche noch das angekündigte Town Hall Meeting zum geplanten Release von Sparklet als ETC-20 Token statt und ein neuer Metaventure-Typ kann ab sofort registriert werden. Zusätzlich wurde das Upland Overdrive Car Race Event angekündigt, bei dem es tolle Preise für die schnellsten Rennteilnehmer zu gewinnen gibt.

October brings a lot of action in Upland. Right at the start there was another MV Motors Car Sale today. Furthermore, the announced town hall meeting on the planned release of Sparklet as an ETC-20 token will take place this week and a new metaventure type can be registered immediately. Additionally, the Upland Overdrive Car Race Event has been announced, with great prizes to be won for the fastest race participants.

MV Motors Oktober Car Sale

  • Der Oktober Car Sale stand gleich zum Monatsbeginn am Programm. Es kamen weitere 699 Autos in den Verkauf. Darunter Series 2, Series 4 und Series T Modelle. Für den Verkauf gab es wie immer eine Registrierung.
  • Der Verkauf begann am Dienstag den 3. Oktober, um 8:00 Uhr PT (MESZ +9). Alle die den Verkauf versäumt haben und insbesondere für das kommende Rennevent noch ein passendes Auto kaufen wollen, können sich am Sekundärmarkt nach ihrem jeweiligen Wunschauto umsehen.

Community Town Hall zum Sparklet Voting am 5. Oktober

  • Wie zuletzt bekannt gegeben, soll Spark als Sparklet auf Ethereum Einzug halten. Upland hat dazu der Community den entsprechenden Vorschlag unterbreitet, das vorläufige White Paper veröffentlicht und um Diskussion und Feedback zum Proposal gebeten. Inzwischen hatten alle aktiven Uplander Zeit, sich mit der Materie zu beschäftigen und sich zu informieren. Auch die bekannten Broadcaster haben den Vorschlag beleuchtet und das ihre dazu beigetragen, die Grundlagen für die kommende Entscheidung in ihren Streams und Beiträgen aufzubereiten.
  • Wie angekündigt gibt es vor dem Voting nun ein Town Hall Meeting, wo der Vorschlag noch einmal besprochen und das Community-Feedback und die wesentlichen Fragen erörtert werden. Fragen könnt ihr übrigens bis zum Mittwoch, 4. Oktober um 4 PM PT (MESZ +9) unter https://forms.gle/MWtitqXck2LG8Nj69 einreichen.
  • Die Community Town Hall findet am 5. Oktober um 9 AM PT (MESZ +9) statt. Das Video zum Livestream ist unten eingebettet.

Upland Overdrive - Das neue Rennevent

  • Die Registrierung zum anstehenden ersten großen Rennevent von Upland ist bereits angelaufen. Alle Besitzer eines Series 1, Series 2 oder Series 4 Cars (ausgenommen Sondermodelle) können sich bis Freitag, 6. Oktober 9 AM PT (MESZ +9) für das Event registrieren.
  • Das Upland Overdrive Rennevent beginnt mit dem Qualifying am Montag. 9, Oktober um 9 AM PT (MESZ +9).
  • Höhepunkt ist dann das Grand Finale am Freitag, 13. Oktober, das von der Upland Racing League im San Francisco Upland Cafe live gestreamed wird.

New Metaventure-Typ: Racing Legit Shop

  • Ab sofort kann man sich um einen Racing Legit Shop bewerben. Diese neue Shop-Variante dient zum Verkauf von Stock Car Pro Series Legits. Um sich für den Betrieb eines solchen Shops zu qualifizieren, gilt es die diesbezüglichen Erfordenisse zu erfüllen.

MV Motors October Car Sale

  • The October Car Sale was scheduled right at the beginning of the month. A further 699 cars went on sale. Including Series 2, Series 4 and Series T models. As always, there was registration for the sale.
  • Sales began on Tuesday, October 3rd at 8:00 a.m. PT (CEST +9). Anyone who missed the sale and wants to buy a suitable car, especially for the upcoming racing event, can look for their dream car on the secondary market.

Community Town Hall for the Sparklet Voting on October 5th

  • As recently announced, Spark will be released as Sparklet on Ethereum. Upland submitted the corresponding proposal to the community, published the preliminary white paper and asked for discussion and feedback on the proposal. In the meantime, all active Uplanders had time to deal with the matter and find out more information. The well-known broadcasters also highlighted the proposal and contributed to preparing the basis for the coming decision in their streams and contributions.
  • As announced, there will now be a town hall meeting before the voting, where the proposal will be discussed again and the community feedback and key questions will be discussed. By the way, you can submit questions until Wednesday, October 4th at 4 PM PT (CEST +9) at https://forms.gle/MWtitqXck2LG8Nj69.
  • The Community Town Hall will take place on October 5th at 9 AM PT (CEST +9). The video for the live stream is embedded below.

Upland Overdrive - The new racing event

  • Registration for Upland's upcoming first major racing event has already begun. All owners of a Series 1, Series 2 or Series 4 car (excluding special models) can register for the event until Friday, October 6th at 9 AM PT (CEST +9).
  • The Upland Overdrive racing event begins with qualifying on Monday. October 9 at 9 AM PT (CEST +9).
  • The highlight is the Grand Finale on Friday, October 13th, which will be streamed live by the Upland Racing League at the San Francisco Upland Cafe.

New Metaventure Type: Racing Legit Shop

  • You can now apply for a Racing Legit Shop. This new shop variant is used to sell Stock Car Pro Series Legits. In order to qualify to operate such a shop, the relevant requirements must be met.

Ja es bleibt spannend und es tut sich viel. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Metaversen gibt es auf Upland eine große und aktive Community und die Betreiber und Entwickler sind sehr aktiv und immer wieder auch direkt für die Community erreichbar. Man merkt das persönliche Engagement. Zudem ist Upland keine Eintagsfliege. Upland ist vielmehr bemüht für eine gesunde Ökonomie zu sorgen und überhaupt ist alles auf langfristiges Wachstum ausgelegt.
