Hi all, welcome to my Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Social media challenge is a regular event held on HIVE BLOCKCHAIN which everyone share their thought about Splinterlands.

This week is the second time that we get SPS reward as part of GUILD BRAWL. We are no longer getting MERITS only, SPS which is our main reward from Rank Battle now become part of the Brawl Reward alongside with MERIT. Some might have not realized that with proper calculation and right approach, GUILD BRAWL can be your main source of earning in Splinterlands, and of course... Competing in BRAWL has become more and more exciting!!!

Today GUILD BRAWL gave us each 43.7 SPS and 2,044 MERITS. This is wonderful because it means after every BRAWL we can buy a Gladius Pack. But more importantly, extra 43 SPS per BRAWL is very good for a KRILL / MINNOW like me.

as we can see the table above about Reward Pool Distribution from SPLEX.GG for a Silver 1 Modern Format, in average we will get 0.1 SPS per win. In a day we can win 15-18x, so it means we can get max around 2 SPS per day, or 14 SPS per week. So having 43 SPS more for any Silver League Player is great thing for sure.

I play on Modern Format Silver League and can not play on gold due to limited CARD LEVEL. Usually I only get around 2 SPS per day, that number is correctly around what SPLEX.GG says in their table.. So This BRAWL REWARDS is giving me more SPS from my daily rank battles. The only thing I can hope everyday is I get some mega jacpot 100-500 SPS from daily loot. I often see people sharing it that Silver can be lucky too sometime, but I never get that until today.

MY GUILD - TeaseME

First of all, I am not playing in big GUILD which gets the biggest chunk of SPS POOL. When I came into this Guild, it was a Tier 2 Guild and we wanted to jump onto Tier 3 Guild... and That happenend a few days ago, people here injecting DEC to get our ARENA qualify for TIER 3 BRAWL. Of course as a small player here I played my part as a leecher who happily see big fishes injecting 10.000 to 50.000 DEC to pump our Arena level hahahaha...

When we were in Tier 2 Guild, we always ended up on top 4. TeasMe is not a heavily competitive guild who seeks strongest players, getting maximum rewards on every Brawl. We are a more casual one, we have fun, winning some battle, and trying hard not to get humiliated by smaller guilds.

However Last BRAWL taught us a lot. As a new comer in TIER 3, we got slaughtered very bad. The previous Brawl we got top 2, right behind Japanese Guild Death Hamster or something, however this time we got rank 8... To be honest we were at the bottom a few hours before this BRAWL ended, and the bottom 3 are way far from rank 7 😂🤣

so here is our first input for you who want to upgrade your GUILD

THE HIGHER TIER YOUR GUILD IS, YOUR OPPONENTS ARE TAKING THE BRAWL MORE INTENSE AND SERIOUSLY

We learn that in TIER 3 people are not fooling around. no more flees, maybe other GUILDS on TIER 3 fire or kick members out for fleeing during BRAWL 🤣😂. Currently we haven't thought about doing that strictly, we are still casual guild afterall. But do not worry, We are learning and hopefully in some BRAWL a head we can come stronger than last time

MY BRAWLS

My winrate in BRAWL used to be around 55%, but that's when I was in Tier 1 and Tier 2 Guild. The first brawl was a disaster, I got 33% winrate...

That's pretty much pathetic right, I was glad that time because I thought I was going to lose all 9 battles

I played the Gold Foil Bronze League, which all cards were available for selection. Meanwhile in regular battles, I was in Modern Format Silver League, so this became quite bothersome because I did not have enough Gold Foil cards to be picked. Luckily my Guild mate understood that condition and did not force me to get maximum win I could get by renting many expensive Gold Foil cards.

so here is our second input for you who want to upgrade your GUILD

Plan and Manage Frays Selection carefully, your Guild need to get as many win however it doesn't mean everyone has to win a lot. There are Frays that maybe you need to let loose and have some weaklings or alts on there

BRAWLS #1

The first battle, my opponent was YKYAN4, the result was A Lose For Me

This battle was a duel of Sea Monster vs Tinderlock, with Tinderlock Last Stand Ability, you can see below how strong he grew and no way My Sea Monster could win against him.

Reason of Losing:

• I did not prepare to bring many selections, I did not have the right summoner, I did not have Keyla in my team, so it's only a 11 Mana I used from 12 mana available.
• Regardless my preparation, my opponent did come up with a good team. It's a solid team for a 12 mana battle
• If there was earth element on selection, maybe I could get my Earth Team which had Flesh Golem and Halving Alchemist, then I had a chance to win

BRAWLS #2

The second battle, my opponent was MXM0UNITE, the result was The Second Lose For Me

It's fire vs fire, Tarsa vs Skargore. Opponent out strategy me and I lost very badly.

Reason of Losing:

• My team was built to fight mage team, which I thought he would use Earth Magic Team. So I relied heavily on Grum Flameblade and had Scavo hireling to support him. Meanwhile my opponent focused on all out attack, which led him making more damage per round (DPS) and made me lost.
• Wrong monster selection. Scavo Technomancer was a good rat, however a half ass blast damage only triggered Skargor Enrage Ability. So overall having this rat would only buffed up their Radiated Brute. So I came with some selection that he had prepared against to

BRAWLS #3

The third battle, my opponent was LUNAFREYAFFXV, and of course this was the 3rd Loses Streak For Me

It's a battle of Earth Element, one led by Obsidian and the other was Mylor. In the middle of this battle, I lost all my backline monsters due to his Sand Worm and it became 1 vs 3, of course an easy win for him.

Reason of Losing:

• Thing would end differently if I had Queen Mycelia on my team, just as he had on his team.
• Same as the 2nd battle, Scavo Technomancer did not work well meanwhile Sand Worm was performing outstandingly.

Don't be stingy, spend more DEC on rental market.

The fourth battle, my opponent was JWING, and of course this was adding one more poin of my Loses Streak

When this started... I just said "holy shit Gold Foil Gladius Card"...

Reason of Losing:

• Chain Golem and That Gladius Card... in regular battle I might come up with something, but this is Gold Foil only battle. end for me

BRAWLS #5

The fifth battle, my opponent was BLIPPI, and I won this time.. My first ever win in this BRAWL

This was a battle of Earth Obsidian team. I used 3 monsters and he had 5 monsters, however I won perfectly without losing any monsters here

Reason of Winning:

• Eat that Scavo Technomancer hahahaha... I lost badly because I used him in my team, now my opponent experienced the same
• Mushroom Seer... This mushroom looked weak however it's mandatory to have him when you felt you were going to meet magic team. Silence Ability was very crucial.

BRAWLS #6

Thank you SOOTU, you gave me the second wins streak here. I was worrying of having one win only, and this win relieved me a lot

Little league battle with and extra blast from Explosive Weaponry ruleset. I think both team came up with a good formation

Reason of Winning:

• Healing on Xenith monk and Life Leech on Life Sapper. These abilities gave me more health recovery which later made my monsters withstood blast damage
• My team was faster, hit first. this was the key winning point.

BRAWLS #7

My fifth Losts, Omochi beat me in earthquake ruleset

The battle of the sky, bot of us using Brighton Bloom. I lost badly here for a very simple reason... I wanted to show off using my Gold Foil Gladius Card WITCH OF WARWICK, it's a ridiculous flexing. Ended up very terrible, I should not use a Life Leecher on small mana cap like this.

My sixth losts, the last lost of this Brawl came from PIONERBANK

well not much I could say, he just outclassed me in every aspects. This was the correct way to use Gold Foil Gladius, not like me on the seventh battle

BRAWLS #9

This was my last BRAWL Battle and luckily it's a Win for me from AKIZUKIREI

This was a funny battle. I envied he had Keyla Frendul as the summoner, I didn't have her on my selection so I had to use Quix the Devious as the back up. Both were doing the speed thing so the meta should not differ a lot.

I was laughing seeing he came with that Flying Squid. I believed he was not that bad, he must have to use that squid because he had same problem with me... Limited selection available.

To bad for him, this battle was one sided thank to his Squid. Good Game, good way to end BRAWL with a win.

HOW ABOUT YOU?

Do you play in higher Tier Brawl? or you still playing on lower tier? or maybe you are my next opponent... I am having the next BRAWL as I am writing this post. If you are in smaller Guild right now, I recommend you to upgrade your Guild now, or at least get to TIER 2 Guild. Do not waste too much time in Tier 1 Guild, you are losing a big opportunity in getting SPS from GUILD BRAWL
