LeoThreads : If Long Form Content is the Meal, Short Form Content is the Appetizer

A microblog is what it sounds like, the smaller version of a blog post. Platforms like Twitter, Tumblr etc. are regarded as microblogging platforms since they rely on brief text posts to attract users' attention. That being said, it offers short messages which are digestible, designed to grab attention and engage with a wider audience.

That being said, who would have thought of having microblogging on the latest version of web, Web 3.0. Hive now has it's own microblogging platform #LeoThreads.

It is said that more B2B businesses are incorporating microblogging into their content strategy in addition to their long form content. If long form content is the meal, short form content is the appetizer.

Short form content gives a taste to the audience which leave them curious and wanting more. And then the long form content like your blog posts, case studies, articles, guides, white papers etc. does the heavy the heavy lifting.

Looking at the LeoFinance community on Hive, It has been there for some time with its long form content. And then we saw the addition of short form content or microblogging with the project named as LeoThreads.

LeoThreads have been there for some months and I personally felt like it wasn't able to attract much of the attention before, but now, the situation doesn't seem the same anymore to me after the new LeoFinance UI.

With the name microblogging, platforms like Twitter, Reddit etc. may come to your mind. But I guess we may now see other microblogging platforms on web3 as well that could be a game changer for the microblogging niche and the industry. Because the nature of these microblogs have proved that users do like to get involve in microblogging.

Microblogging is a good way to communicate with the audiences as opposed to traditional blogs enabling quick conversational posts with others.

For businesses and projects, that could prove helpful in making announcements about their products or if they want some clarifications. It can also have links to long-form content and promoting it.

Good to have microblogging on Hive as well with the name #LeoThreads.

Any thoughts about microblogging on Hive?
