Battle Mage Secrets: Counterspell [EN - ESP]
Second @splinterlands article this week and, as usual, it's about the Battle Mage Secrets challenge. You know, the challenge in which the Splinterlands team propose us to analyse a battle condition every week. This week's proposal is closely related to the Magic Reflect ability and, although it's called Counterspell, the effect is the same as the aforementioned special ability. Let's get to this week's analysis of Counterspell.
Segundo artículo de @splinterlands de esta semana y, como viene siendo habitual, trata sobre el reto Battle Mage Secrets. Ya sabes, el reto en el que el equipo de Splinterlands nos propone analizar una condición de batalla cada semana. La propuesta de esta semana está en íntima relación con la habilidad Magic Reflect y, aunque se llama Counterspell, el efecto es el mismo que la referida habilidad especial. Vamos con el análisis de esta semana de Counerspell.
As I explained in the introduction, the effect of Counterspell's presence as a battle condition is exactly the same as the Magic Reflect special ability All cards that take damage from a magic attack will return a portion of that damage to the card that caused it. So, you know what you have to take into account in your strategy: it is absolutely forbidden to use a card with Magic Attack under this battle condition... Or, at least, it is not recommended at all.
Como te explico ya en la introducción, el efecto que produce la presencia de Counterspell como condición de batalla es exactamente el mismo que la habilidad especial Magic Reflect. Todas las cartas que reciban daño de ataque mágico van a devolver una parte de ese daño a la carta que lo ha causado. Así las cosas, ya sabes qué tienes que tener en cuenta en tu estrategia: absolutamente prohibido utilizar carta con ataque mágico bajo esta condición de batalla... O, al menos, no es nada recomendable.
Considering that, in addition to Counterspell, Sper Sneak is listed as a battle condition, you won't see me using my green deck with Obsidian, as you might expect. Instead I'm going to go with my other big deck, the water deck, with Kelya Frendul as my summoner and the basis of my strategy.
Teniendo en cuenta que, además de Counterspell, aparece como condición de batalla Sper Sneak no me vas a ver utilizar mi mazo verde con Obsidian, como es lógico. En cambio voy a optar por mi otra gran mazo, el de agua, con Kelya Frendul como invocadora y base de mi estrategia.
As a tank goes Igor Darkspear. I'm sure you weren't expecting this, but I'm looking to spend as little summoning mana as possible and give the main block of cards in my strategy time to do their job.
Como tanque va Igor Darkspear. Seguro que esto no te lo esperabas pero busco gastar el mínimo de maná de invocación y dar tiempo a que el bloque principal de cartas de mi estrategia tengan tiempo para hacer su trabajo.

You know. When Counterspell shows up, you should base your strategy on cards with melee attack or ranged attack while avoiding magic attack and you'll tell me why it makes sense to put cards that are going to take damage when they attack. You should also take this into account when your opponent places Owster Rotwell as a summoner, although fortunately very few players have developed this summoner.
Ya sabes. Cuando aparece Counterspell debes basar tu estrategia en base a cartas con ataque cuerpo a cuerpo o ataque a distancia evitando el ataque mágico. Y es que ya me contarás qué sentido tiene colocar cartas que van a recibir daño cuando ataquen. Este cuidado lo debes tener en cuenta también cuando el rival coloca como invocador a Owster Rotwell aunque, por suerte, son muy pocos los jugadores que tienen este invocador desarrollado.
