Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

We have arrived at the weekend once again, and weekends means Caturday, my favorite day of the week.

Do love my sunny spots... now leave me alone!

We have also arrived at the final Caturday of the month of March, as well as the final Caturday of this first quarter of 2024.

Meanwhile, you Hoomans are celebrating something called "Easter" this weekend, so happy Easter to you! I wonder if Easter has anything to do with cat treats and birds?

We have had a fairly quiet few days around here, because the Mom-Hooman made a trip to nearby Seattle to spend a few days with the Daughter-Hooman. I hope they had a good time over there!

Meanwhile, the Dad-Hooman and I we're mostly working on projects around the house, as well as his so-called "work," and he seemed to be stressing a lot about something you Hoomans call "taxes."

You should just let me at those taxes, I'd slash them and make sure they behaved themselves!

Anyway, it seems like this weekend also represented some sort of deadline so now maybe the Dad-Hooman won't be quite so stressed out over it all and spend more time playing with me!

We've had a couple of nice sunny days, which means I've been able to use all my favorite sunshiny sleeping spots. I am enjoying my sunny naps while I can, because when the leaves start to set on the trees, the house will be shaded and there will be very few sunny spots around.

Meanwhile, I think we're all happy to see that the Cryptosphere is behaving itself a little bit better after so long in a depressed place.

Seems like we have had some stability with Bitcoin and our own Hive token seems to have fallen into a a higher range now, and I'm certainly glad that we are sitting at a point that seems much better than where we were just a couple of months ago!

Let's hope it lasts a long time so I can continue to build my nice little kitty savings account here. I'm still working towards my next Hive goal of reaching 4,000 Hive Power!

Smudge is SUCH a fluffball!

Smudge seems to be back to fully being her normal talkative self, after her incident with that hairball somewhat blocking her intestines. She's enjoying her favorite sunny spots, as well!

Because it is spring — and she's just so fuzzy — she is in the process of shedding her thick winter coat. Her ancestors must have been some kind of Nordic mountain cat! There's just so much hair coming off... and she still seems as hairy as ever!

All in all, life seems pretty good, these days!

And now... I'm going to had back to my naptime. We just had dinner and snackish treats... time to sleep it off!
