The Relaunch & Evolution of ListNerds
While this hasn't been much of a secret, it's time to make it 'official official'...
On January 13th, 2022 we are relaunching one of our premier marketing services - ListNerds.com
In the affiliate marketing world, these projects have been known as 'viral mailers or safelists' which has been online for over 20 years now. Sadly, for those 2 decades, not much has changed.
So in January, we're bringing something new to the table, and we think people are going to love it.
We're calling it 'Proof-Of-Mail' and essentially we're combining our unique features in ListNerds with some good ol' fashioned blockchain technology. In the past, a viral mailer benefited the sender of the messages only, and this led to low conversions, high attrition and a general feeling that this was the lowest quality traffic one could generate for their websites.
So with Proof-Of-Mail (POM) we aim to make all parties a winner!
That includes the sender of the email, the receiver of the email and now the....Staker of the brand new LISTNERDS token. More on that in a second....
As you can see, there is 2 tokens that a member of ListNerds now can earn. The brand new LISTNERDS token and the CTP token as well.
We have a breakdown of how everything works inside of short white paper here.
But in a nutshell, as displayed in the graphic above...
The SENDER of the email earns 60% of the daily LISTNERDS rewarded, given that the email is verified (the proof of mail function).
The RECEIVER of the email earns 60% of the daily CTP rewards generated by our curation project, and does this by reading and verifying emails.
The STAKER earns both LISTNERDS and CTP tokens. The more they stake, the more they can potentially be rewarded!
The Mission!
We are tired of people using these services saying their results aren't what they used to be. We feel that email is still. very effective way to promote a website and build relationships. And that's what we aim to do with the new ListNerds, make sure EVERYONE wins. The sender gets better results from an engaged and active community. The receiver feels like their time is valuable and appreciated, which will create a community of readers that are excited about what messages they are receiving. And finally, the staker of the LISTNERDS token is rewarded for helping to build a stable and rewarding blockchain based marketing community.
The AirDrop
One of the big questions is, how does one get LISTNERDS tokens? Again the break down of the token can be found in our whitepaper here. But we are rewarding people with a small airdrop of LISTNERDS tokens in preparation for launch.
Free members of ListNerds will receive 1 LISTNERDS token when the snap shot is taken just before January 13th.
Upgraded members of Listnerds will receive 2 tokens.
We will also be sending 1 LISTNERDS token for every 5000 CTP tokens people stake inside of the website. The staking of CTP must be inside of ListNerds.com itself, as that will be how we generate CTP rewards through curation.
The Sale
LISTNERDS token are now for sale directly on Hive-Engine and TribalDex!
The cost per token is 2 Hive each, and once people get LISTNERDS, they will stake the tokens inside of ListNerds itself to start earning staking rewards.
We're very excited to finally create something we always thought would be the perfect match here on Hive. A traditional affiliate marketing program, using blockchain tech to help validate the actual service of the program. This is a first in the affiliate marketing world, and we hope it's not the last!
A few things to note:
While many of you on Hive might be scratching your head and asking yourself what's the value to Hive members, this is designed to bring people to Hive, not so much bring people to ListNerds. We are still focused on bridging the gap between traditional online marketing and the blockchain, and to do that we need to slowly bring 'our people' from the marketing side, over to Hive.
Our payment gateway HivePay.io will be used in ListNerds going forward as well. That means if you want to upgrade your account, you can use HivePay and pay the monthly fee in both Hive and HBD.
This takes absolutely ZERO from the Hive rewards pool, and it's all second layer rewards. We think this shows the power of Hive and what entrepreneurs CAN build here by using the amazing services provided! Every member of ListNerds that wants to take part in the blockchain rewards will require a Hive account. Currently, ListNerds membership is over 31,000!
Not only can members of ListNerds be rewarded from sending, receiving and staking...But they can also get good ol' fashioned affiliate commissions as well. But that's what is so powerful about affiliate marketing on the blockchain, you don't need to 'sell' anything to anyone to benefit from using the products and services. We feel, this levels the playing field for everyone trying to build businesses online!

This is really exciting. You guys are such trailblazers, first, you gamify internet marketing in multiple ways, and now you are bringing Listnerds to the blockchain, this is crazy.
With shame I admit that email marketing has been completely ignored by me, I started building a list too many times to count and never followed through.
Lately, for the past 4 months, I have been pretty consistent and changed a lot about my work habits and lifestyle.
If you could only talk Blain into coding a First-person shooter on the blockchain...lol
You never know with that guy, he might come up with a surprise or two down the road...

This is huge, for I think it might be, some people will never have a problem with affiliate marketing. and the proof of mail 📦, it great. I will read the white paper to get me about it and try to get my CTP ready on ground too.

For stakers rewards, do we need to stake both tokens (CTP and LN), or they are independent and, if one only stakes one token, receives only the rewards corresponding to that token?
No you do not need to stake both, they are independent from one another. If you stake one, you only earn the same token

Everything will work like normal, but instead of just being rewarded for people clicking and reading your emails, senders, receivers and stakers of the tokens will get benefits as well :)
Ok I've read throught this post about 3 times and read the white paper twice :-). I'm really impressed! That's a great project. There is just one question that isn't clear to me. When a sender get's his e-mail verified, he will get Listnerds that he can either stake on the website, exchange on HE. Can he do something else with them?
I think that there might be a way to use this service also for hive people who would like to get more audience to their posts... Imagine promoting your posts to a population that all have hive accounts...
Yes, the potential for Hive community members to get their posts read...Is most definitely a value proposition for this blockchain community. Win win for everyone!
