How to make the project more sustainable
A couple of months ago, I started a change in strategy to finance the dividends for delegators of the project. These delegations are pretty important for us because they allow us to leverage the return for the token and to give big upvotes to the members of the CTP community.
I realized in the last weeks, that the change will take a very long time and in the meantime, the funds are not enough to cover the costs.
I would like to open the discussion. Maybe you have an idea how we could generate a little bit more income to make the return for delegators a bit higher so that the whole project becomes more sustainable.

I think adding some curation posts seems the best thing to do and maybe add a prize draw to them to increase engagement. Maybe someone could help you with this aspect of the project if your time is limited.
Curation is a very difficult task and I don't know whether I would manage to create someting meaningful. But it goes into that direction and yes some help is always welcome :-)
by % indeed author reward is a lot higher than curator reward, like it or not, to grow HP we need some regular / frequent Posts, best is biweekly or a weekly one. Getting the topics is the major challenge here, I have no idea/suggestion at this moment for the topics... Something that not complicated, quite repeatable but not a copy-paste thing from previous one, for example like this post, a milestone report or updates with specific format
That's also how I see it. I gladly do more posts but it's the content that is the challenge. I also don't want to create copy-paste posts that in my opinion don't bring any value to people.

CTPSB has kind of become an elist club where only the rich get votes and get richer. How can you get new members or anyone interested in the club where it takes 120 hive worth of CTP to reach the bottom rung of the ladder? I think it is the same issue that splinterlands has. A high cost of entry.

I think the 20% return of HBD has undercut many projects ability to grow. It is hard for this project to compete with that return.
I understand your point and you are not wrong. You need quite a big amount of CTP to be supported. Since CTPSB is a project owned by the community, it's also important that we support the community behind it. In my opinion the best indicator for belonging to the community is the stake of CTP tokens. If I look at Splinterlands, it's not possible to earn without having made some investments into cards. Here it's not different, why would the community support people with little or no stake? The stake requirement gives an incentive for people to stake and hold CTP. This, in the long term is positive for all CTP holders I believe.
I'm always open for suggestion how it could be done in a better way however :-).

I have to say that posts will almost always generate much more returns than curation, so posts it is. That said, the perceived quality gained from reading the post is where the curation returns will come from. I curate (upvote/comment) for primarily two reasons: either I was entertained, mentally or visually, or, I feel that I gained, or agree with, knowledge from the poster. The better the post completes one of these two objectives, the better chance I will upvote, and possibly comment, on it. I am sure this is likely a general rule with most readers, so I feel safe saying that this is the direction I would suggest.
Creating content is the best way to increase the earnings for the project. As you say however, the content should bring added value to readers and quantity shouldn't come at the cost of quality I believe :-)
This is correct. I do my Personal Logs for frequency and continuality. I make State of the Empire posts to track my financial journey. However, I think I get more and better curation from the occasional topics I choose to tackle and make a post about when the topic comes to mind and I post about it.
Yeah more posts will generate more income, and if you only need about 20 Hive per week it will have a big effect.

I think an extra post is fine but I was wondering if it was possible to start asking questions through the CTPSB account like Liotes does right now. Sure, you may not get credits but I think the outreach could reach different people. At the same time, maybe tailor the questions more towards what CTP is about?

Something like that would be an idea but I would have to think how to do it without ranking.
How about using a portion reward from the previous post and giving that in CTP tokens to reward the best X answers and highlight them in the next post? Then pose the next question.
