I enjoyed your story. I know you said this design was not complicated but for someone like me who has never cross stitched before…it looks quite complicated 😄. I’m glad you were able to focus this work of memory while you are there visiting. How sweet your parents framed it and hung it on their wall.

I couldn’t locate the mistake you were speaking of but I do love the closeups on the eyes and face.
