What do you understand by Dignity in Labor? Is it good or bad

Hello Cent platform! It's another time to understand some aspects of life that can't be overemphasized in terms of success in life and that's dignity of labor.

One of the virtue that is quickly fading away in our society is the area of hard work in the process of wealth creation. The concept of getting rich this days is predicated in quick money without working for it. This has led many into fraudulent activities both online and offline.

Please not get me wrong, I'm not saying that people don't make money without stress in this generation. The arrival of crypto and forex trading with the admixture of the use of robotics in trading has helped people to make wealth without much labor. This means that there's still little amount of labor or work to do in making such wealth. Even in the cryptoverse, it takes some levels of concentration to actually succeed in trading, while little distraction can make you lose millions of dollars in split seconds.

Whether in hard work or smart work there's still a level of commitment to put into which is called labor. This plus diligence gives you the desired success you need in life.

Many people today don't believe that there's dignity of labor, so they don't want to put any effort in hard work or making a living, they intentionally want to depend on others for their daily bread.

What does dignity of labor mean?

of labour means that all occupations, whether involving intellect or physical labour, deserves equal respect and dignity. No job should be considered superior or inferior. Every job that is dutifully done with honesty and sincerity deserves appreciation.Source

From the above definition one will understand that every work that's carried out with honesty is worth doing without discrimination. Some people look down on other people's work as if it's not a job, but the truth is that if everyone was a medical doctor, who'll be the shoe cobbler or the carpenter.

The idea of dignity of labor is that people should not sit idle waiting for their dreamed job, instead they should keep themselves busy doing something to avoid getting involved in fraudulent activities in the society.
