It's been about 9 years ago since the Germans took over some parts of Iraq that was previously captured by ISIL. After 9 years the Germans parliament have described the Yazidi massacre by ISIL and ISIS as genocide after proper investigations have been carried out.

After seizing large parts of Iraq and Syria in 2014, ISIL killed more than 1,200 Yazidis, enslaved 7,000 Yazidi women and girls, and displaced most of the 550,000-strong community from their homes in northern Iraq.Source

Killing more than 1,200 Yazidis and enslaving 7,000 amounts to crimes against humanity and perpetrators of these crimes should be brought to book and the international humanitarian laws on human rights should be upheld in high esteem.

The life of a single Yazidis is very important and should be valued and protected even at the point of death. Displacing about 550,000 people means that the terrorists group have brought arm to them.

In 2014, Yazidis men and women were massacred by the ISIL soldiers and nothing was done by the international community to bring justice to the Yazidis people who were killed unjustly.

Greens lawmaker Max Lucks said Germany was home to what is believed to be the world’s largest Yazidi diaspora of about 150,000 people, meaning the country had a particular responsibility to the community.
“Their pain will never go away,” he told the Bundestag. “We owe this to the Yazidis because we did not take action [in 2014] when we were needed. Our silence cost lives.”Source

It should be noted that in 2014, the Germans didn't take any decisions after receiving complains from the Yazidis leaving in Iraq on the abuses and violation of human rights by the ISIL soldiers.

On Thursday, the German parliament took a decisions of the ISIL abuses in 2014. This decision came after a German court tried an ISIL soldier for human right abuse in 2021, including the killing of a five year old Yazidis girl.

A special UN investigation team said in May 2021 it collected “clear and convincing evidence” that the armed group committed genocide against the Yazidis.

The German parliament have taken decisions to support Yazidis in Eastern Syria and northern Iraq. The Yazidis are described by the ISIL terrorist group as a supporters of devil worship.

The Germans looks forward to the proper prosecution of ISIL soldiers who are guilty of human right abuses most especially enslaving Yazidis women and girls by the group.
