From the south of Spain, I have only been to Seville, but Granada is a city I would love to visit one day.
But I guess as you say it is better not to visit it in summer, the heat at that time must be scorching.

I really recommend it, it is a really beautiful and very lively city. I would have liked to stay longer because just being a tourist can't convey the idea.
