Payback

I kept on wondering why these are just like this not until it happened to me.

I have been cheated on for some time now and I was unable to speak out. Anytime I buy an orange, I would cut it into two equal parts. While sipping the first part, someone would come to beg for the second part. I'm the type who loves giving no matter what. This has been happening for so long now without complaining.

Some weeks ago, I saw my friend who we always go out with. He bought an orange and decided to cut it at the tip. He was not able to give me just because of the way he cut it and I could not beg from him.

The next day, I had to buy an orange and cut it in the middle. As I was taking the first half, my friend came out and saw me with the half orange. He collected it from me. As a friend, I don't have to deny him.

Meanwhile, my teacher is the jovial type who always says words jokingly. We were in class one day when he sent someone to buy him some oranges. My friend was not in school that day. Our teacher started taking his oranges one after the other. Meanwhile, one of my mates came close to him and was begging for oranges. He said, "Please, sir, can you give me that remaining half?"
My teacher replied to him that "This is the reason why I don't like cutting my orange half".

I was so curious to ask "Why did you say that sir*.
He replied to me, "Although, anyone who does not want you to share an orange with him or her always cut their oranges at the tip instead of at the middle".

This was when I realized that my friend had been cheating me for all this while. He would love to share from mine but would take his own alone.

The next day when he came to school, I decided to buy just one orange. I cut it at the tip when I observed he was coming closer. I just wanted him to know that I have found out his tricks.
"Oh ... .so you decided to cut your orange at the tip so that I will not ask from you right?" He said.

I was laughing and told him "Thank goodness I have caught your tricks. You just want to be taking your own alone and collecting mine right? It will not happen again".

Still, this same friend came to my house to play with me. After playing for a few minutes, I went to the kitchen to prepare food which we both enjoyed. I have been doing this act time without a number and have not once gone to his house.

Anytime I call him trying to go to his house, he would object to running to my place instead just because of the food he would eat in my place.

One day, I didn't tell him I would be coming but went unexpectedly. When I got there, he was eating. I went to wash my hands and immediately his face changed. He began to hiss. He said, "This is the remaining food I am having". When I heard those words from him repeatedly, I decided to tell him that "we will see tomorrow". It did not take him a second to answer "ok".

Life is turn by turn. The very day I heard this statement, I could not believe it until my friend did what he did.

He came to my house three days later and sat waiting for me to cook. I had known that he would come at that particular time and had eaten my food before his arrival. He sat and we began to look at each other until he said "Is there no food in the house?" In my mind, I said, "he thought he was the wisest".
I could not answer him and he asked again and this time I replied: "I just finished washing my plates and pots".
He went home hungry.

The next day he came again to my house and the same thing happened. He said "Was it because of what I did to you the last time you came to my house that made you hide your food?
I replied to him, "So you knew what you did was bad, right?"
