One way to collaborate is to offer help to people who may need it, such as the elderly in terms of simple things like carrying shopping bags for them, helping them bring food home, changing a light bulb in the home, things that they do not can do because they are older people.

Todos sabemos que el lugar donde vivimos, compartimos un espacio común, es muy importante, que las personas que estamos acá nos sintamos agradable, tener esa confianza y esa seguridad es importante y eso se puede lograr a través de generar un ambiente agradable y cálido. Para hacerlo, una buena idea es a través de comunicaciones constantes.

En el caso de mi comunidad, lo hacemos a través de un grupo de WhatsApp e invitamos siempre a la gente a participar en actividades comunitarias, como la reparación de una puerta de entrada, la pintura del edificio, la limpieza de las áreas comunes, parrilladas, reuniones para practicar béisbol o fútbol o cualquier otro deporte, periódicamente celebramos cada vez que se puede los cumpleaños de las personas que viven en el edificio, estas actividades ayudan a que nos acerquemos más como comunidad y a tener un ambiente más cálido y saludable.

Otro factor muy crucial y que es difícil de llevar, es el ser respetuoso y amable con todas las personas en la comunidad, saludar a los vecinos, darles los buenos días, tratar de conocer un poco las personas que viven a nuestro alrededor. Una forma de colaborar es ofrecer ayuda a las personas que pueden necesitarlo, como los adultos mayores en cuanto a cosas sencillas como cargarles las bolsas de compras, ayudarlos a llevar los alimentos a su casa, cambiarle un bombillo dentro del hogar, cosas que ellos no pueden realizar por ser personas mayores.

Y en general hacer las cosas que aportan a la comunidad como reparar las luces de las áreas comunes, mantener las áreas comunes limpias, todo esto crea un ambiente cálido y ayuda a mantener una comunidad unida y feliz cuando todas las personas trabajan de manera unida, entonces se crea un ambiente en el que todo el mundo se siente a gusto y esto fomenta en pocas palabras el crecimiento y mantener un espacio de vida agradable para todos.
