This is our weekly showcase where we highlight posts in this community shared here in the last seven days. These are the posts that have impressed us at COM the most.

@adoore-eu - MY SCORE IN ESSAY ABOUT MY LAST Holiday.

"In not less than 500 words, write an essay about your last holiday".
That's my teachers voice. This topic reminds me when I was in school. It was always the welcome gift my English teacher gives us. (But she collects goodies from our parents).
Most times I am not happy to write it because I didn't spend it having fun. I was constantly in my Mummy's shop or at the farm. She never plays with those two during holidays. I hate going to farm with passion.
However, every holiday I would always anticipate that when School resumes, my English teacher would ask us to write how we spent our last holidays. So I keep records of what to write ( of course you know they are all lies).

@charjaim - The odyssey of travel

My excitement about traveling is related to the emotions and the people that I am going to see when I arrive at my destination, but not to the trip itself, this seems like a crazy trip to me. The night before it, I practically didn't sleep, because I was attentive to the phone alarm, I still have the aftertaste of the alarm clocks, which stopped in the middle of the night, and didn't wake anyone up.

@leemah1 - The Old Glutton

Some people will never be satisfied no matter how much you try to please them and that is why we have some techniques we used to shut them up without saying a word so that they won't say we are rude.
There was this woman who usually come to where I was working some years ago and she always time herself and get there exactly when we are about to have lunch and always do as if she was in her house bossing us around, whereas she was there for the free food.

@protokkol - ONE FOOLISH SAVING METHOD I DISCOVERED

Straight to the point I just realized that if I should abandon my money in a place I don't readily access, I could save it for a longer period of time and I even end up forgetting that I kept money in a place like that!
Mostly Its always in a book shelf because I'm always too busy to reach the books, I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm a really busy person i literally dont have an hour to spare looking into books unless it's highly demanded of me.
