This is our weekly showcase where we highlight posts in this community shared here in the last seven days. These are the posts that have impressed us at COM the most.

@balikis95 - Do Not Read If Your Name Is Cynthia.
Cynthia has used many cans and bottles to spit into it and thrashed them afterwards which is very nice until one day, she got a new soda plastic bottle and drank the content before turning the bottle to her new house of spit can.
However, my cousin who had gone to get the soda for Cynthia tiptoed inside the room when Cynthia left the room and in the room was the fine piece of spitting soda bottle unknown to my cousin anyways... let me stop here and imagine how your face has turned hehe.
If there is a phrase to describe this COM post is, Disgustingly funny! The author had to make sure we imagine the whole scene of her story's character.

Before I woke up in the morning, i noticed i made it to the top 5 on the hive zealy leaderboard wow. I'm so so excited right now. 5,000 HBD in prize i finally got my share of it after so many days of completing endless tasks screaming good morning on threads. after collecting this huge amount of money from the campaign, without wasting time I was already at the airport booked a flight within the twinkle of an eye and before I even entered the plane, I was already in rosarito mexico
What a sarcastic, unreal and funny COM post! The author has it all planned in his head but in reality, he's just at home once again, writing a COM post.

@deborah-yelemu - FOR A PASTOR’S CHILD THAT DOESN’T DRINK ALCOHOL??
Few years ago, while I was in my 200level in the university, I had a clique of friends, we were besties and we looked after each other, amongst us was “Testimony” a pastor’s child, she doesn’t drink anything that contains alcohol, even if it was a creamy drink or a sweet wine, she wouldn’t dare take it, infact she said any drink that contained alcohol was bitter, so we respected her decision as friends, we didn’t try to pressure her into drinking anything that was alcoholic.
The end of this story was expected but the way it played out was unexpected. A drunk pastor's child in a COM post.

@marajah - Will affliction not rise a second time?
It all started few months ago when my neighbor whose name is Emmanuel kicked off his beautiful fiancee thinking he has found a better lover. Yea, according to him, he found his new love in a night party he attended and because of how charming the lady was to him, he started finding faults with his former babe and lastly drove her away. The lady cried and cried, yet it all fell on deaf ears.
Talk about a funny story with lessons to learn. The author explains what happened in her neighborhood and it is an interesting read.

@biyimi - My Journey To Getting Beat Up
When I dial the number when I get there, a surprisingly calm voice replies. I am to meet him in an alley, he instructs. Till now I still try to imagine where I got the courage and confidence to be conversing with a total stranger who might or happens to be a thief. I let him know I've arrived and he instructs me to look to the left since he's approaching from that direction. I experienced a tap on my right shoulder thirty seconds later.
This author actually went to get beaten up, or isn't the title like a tricksy bait? It seem so until you read the whole story of what happened.

@davidbright - I was beaten by a Girl
I wouldn't say this is my most embarrassing moment because I have had so many such moments. However, the is undoubtedly, one of my most embarrassing moments. Can you imagine I got beaten by a girl? Please don't just laugh at me oo...shit happens and it is what it is. She was just lucky I was not in my fighting mood that day if not, I would have dealt with her mercilessly.
This author had us laughing at him at the beginning, sympathizing with him along the story and then, it ended with more laughter. A funny bully and courage story
