This is our weekly showcase where we highlight posts in this community shared here in the last seven days. These are the posts that have impressed us at COM the most.

It was one fateful day when my eyes were opened.
I was surfing the internet as most jobless people do, then I stumbled upon an article.
The title was something along the lines of "The origins of Disney fairy tales."
It sounded interesting so I swooped in to read.
I shouldn't have swooped mehn cuz damn,
what I read destroyed every bit of child innocence left in me.
His child innocence has been destroyed, do you think it would be different for you after reading this COM post? You'll have to find out yourself... Some really dark reveal about popular Disney movies

One day her Nanny who was also my Nanny years back before she moved into my aunt's house to take care of my aunt’s children came up with an idea, she told us that it was believed that if you bury a child's leg for some time the child will learn to work fast, that is, digging a hole that would contain the child standing and you would have to leave the child for some minutes for the child to stand alone.
This would definitely make a good play to watch, the chronicles of making a child walk. One would think they are after something wicked.

Sarcasm, the very foundation of the human race, I honestly don't know how we'd have made it this far without sarcasm. Most people would say being sarcastic means you're arrogant but if we take the words of a race that has just made sex a sport then we have failed as a civilization.
This rant about sarcastic awesomeness has got to be one of the good sarcastic COM post, or was that a sarcastic compliment? Maybe.

@seunruth - TRICK OR TREAT?
There was this young lad living next to us, I would call him Timmy, who absolutely hated taking medicine. His parents had tried everything – bribing him with candy, hiding it in his favourite foods, and even making up stories about how the medicine would give him superpowers. But no matter what they did, Timmy would refuse to take his medicine.
A strategy the mum suggested worked but you'd need to read it so you could adopt it for stubborn kid or future stubborn one, no offence, we're just being helpful here.

@florecitamejias - Always unlucky, never lucky
Since then I have been very cautious about playing anything that has to do with luck; when I say not even one piece of candy, I'm not lying, not even one ha,ha,ha,ha, not even guessing the answer, not even playing the 99 numbers of the lottery because that day they get sick and it's not valid. That's how bad I am with that.
How unlucky can you get or what's your luck story? She is definitely a no luck person, always have to work for it unlike some who get lucky.

@nelson-george - You got to love ads
What I am trying to say is that a good ad will get you so far. Upon my discovery of this, I decided to venture into advertising, maybe if I conquered it, I'd be able to rule the world.
This is all very new to me but I decided to practice with a few existing products, maybe if I was able to sell those, I could sell anything and I'd like to share what I came up with here.
The two products he advertised on this post would be very much needed by you if you have his kind of siblings or broke like him.
