The advice that stuck through time

At a very young age, I had not known the meaning and the essence of life, I would admit I wasn't like every other child, I was so calm and over gentle, some people said I was dum but that wasn't really true, I was only being a bit lazy and an introvert, thank God for my twin sister if not i'w have been the slimmest guy among my siblings, as at then I didn't know how to express myself to others expecially when I'm hungry, my sister would be the one to ask me if I'm hungry, then I would humbly answer (only God knows maybe by then she have eaten half of my food).

Now I understand that I was a kid full of talents and gifts within but I only needed some to give me a coach speach, I believe in coach speachs haha, it's funny but it's true, sometimes we just need to be motivated, there are times that I felt bad about doing somethings because they looked difficult but after getting the motivation speach, I realized it was something I could do over and over again.

While I was still in that introvert and calm version of me, my mum called me one day, and she told me somethings that boosted me and until now I'm still on the run for great achievement as a result of her coach speach, I know this might be a normal encouragement that everyone gets from their parents but this felt different for me because it was coming from my mom and she was being intentional about me having something to do with greatness, she spoke as if she already saw the future.

She told me that people that did great things were not having two brain, she started mentioning many great people that I knew, even the ones I had no idea about, I was wandering why she had to take her time to explain everything to me, she also told me that the only time things would be difficult for me is the time I accept that it's difficult, she told me that whatever I wanted to achieve, I could achieve and more, she spoke as if she was very sure, yes of course she was sure and as for me, of course I had nothing to say, I was only a child and most of the things she said I never understood it until I had grown up to an extent.

Some encouraging speach we give to people might not really have full instant effects but it surely would be effective over time, maybe what that person needs to fully understand you is maturity.

She also told me that there's more to life than the normal routine, grow up, school, marriage, get old and die, she told that I shouldn't leave this world without shaking it, let the world feel my impact, she said that some people would pass through this world without people noticing them but I should cause a heavy impact that even when I leave I would still be remembered.

As a result of what I mom told me, I sprung up a little, the effects of the things she said to me became more stronger when I was in highschool, I started reading hard and then the results were different, up until now I still believe there are things that men haven't seen and I would see it.

Mothers are unique beings, they have a way they use their mouth in a way that it will push the children to a high standard.

Good that your mother was a strong born to where you are not.

The advice from parents are always superb because they have a lot to say especially mother's because they know exactly how the it feels to bear a child.
Thank God your mother fashioned you with a good counsel that is still helping you.

Stay put and enjoy all the best of life.

Some Mums play their role so perfectly that it often feels like they went to a mothering School just to be that good. Haha.

From the experience you shared, it is very obvious that your mom was intentional about that discussion and she wanted to achieve something through it. Thankfully, she successfully achieved it and you have testimonies to share about that experience. Hehe.

Well Done, Bro.

Your mother was talking to you about the transcendence of going beyond the limits that we usually impose on ourselves. For this we must grow and learn, not judge and trust that way new opportunities open up in our lives. Mothers are wise, and when any of us have the opportunity to pass on the same advice we should do so. Best regards.
