Venka The Vile is the first of its kind and a Grimbardun Smith Killer

Venka the vile was airdropped a few days ago and I think this card was specifically designed to reduce the power of Grimbardun Smith in the modern format.

It is a Grimbardun killer because it has the oppress ability and it is the first melee monster that can attack from the rear position without reach, sneak, or opportunity abilities.

The first time I saw this monster in action was when it was first released and an opponent used it against me, the way it killed my Grimbardun Smith was cruel and very fast and it was at that moment I knew Smith was up for a long thing because this monster would make players think twice before using Smith now unlike before that smith is used in almost 90 % battles.

Why is this monster a beast and a Smith killer?

We all know how the oppress ability affects non-attack monsters, it does double damage to them, Grimbardun Smith is a monster without any sort of attack so it can be oppressed, even though Smith has shied which reduces the attack to normal instead of double but still it does not change the fact that it still gets oppress by this monster.

Those are the stats of Venka shown in the picture above:

Charge: This is the first ability and it allows Venka to attack from the rear position. the ability is new and Venka is the first melee monster to have it.

Piercing: This piercing ability allows it to do damage to the health if there is still excess after damaging the armor which makes it unstoppable because even Smith's armor can not save him from this monster's wrath!

Oppress: This ability does double damage to monsters without any form of attack.

Trample: This ability allows it to attack the next monster on the opponent team after eliminating the first one and this is another reason to fear Venka.

Here is a battle in which we were given 3 rules.

All monsters have +2 armor, only 4 monsters can be used as the second rule so we need to come up with our best four monsters and lastly is the no heal!.

Check it out and see how Venka destroyed the opponent Grimbardun Smith and the second nonattack monster he placed at the third position was also destroyed by Venka's trample ability.

If the opponent does not have Venka yet, he must be finding a way to purchase one now after that brutal victory.
