The Dragon's Den is Changing

We are changing the Dragon's Den.

Previously, people could come and pitch to us and make deals with the Dragons for a little bit of capital to launch their project or idea. Our Dragons are amongst some of the biggest buyers on hive-engine so it would only suit that we have a little venture capital opportunities for the little guy.

We are changing that now, so people will be pitching to the entire Dragons Den for liquidity and we will only be open when we have enough. The idea behind this is that whilst some Dragons may want to still secure their own deals with whoever pitches, most participants will have an interest in growing the Brofund and will take part in vetting and sifting through available pitches.

This means that the Dragons will be acting in unison and will work together to find out the good points in an idea, and also the holes that arise as red flags. Then, once we are all decided we will take it to the vote and each Dragon will vote either yes or no whether we invest or not. For a decision to be made, there will need to be over 50% Yes, or over 50% No.

By doing it this way we can better involve everyone in the process. The Dragons, The participants, and the Brofund. I understand that Dragons don't always have an unlimited amount of liquidity, so BRO will provide he liquidity to the Den and it will only be open for business when there is liquidity to use.

In honour of this new change, in the next few weeks ..

We will be sponsoring a brand new tribe if someone manages to bring us a unique idea.

That being said my Dragons are super skeptical about tribes so it will have to be a super unique idea. We are looking for something that no-one has brought to the table so far. Something that would wow us and have us clambering over each other to invest.

If you think that you can do that then please give us a try! That being said I will re-iterate that there hasn't been much yet that has been brought to us that we have all fully invested in.

The Dragons Den is closed for now, but when it opens, and we have some liquidity behind us we'll be looking to sponsor a very unique idea with someone that has the willingness and grit to see it through.
