Crypto Meant Nothing To Me Last Week

This morning when I got up it crossed my mind that I had to write a Market Musings blog like every Monday. After that, I started doing other things and thought I could quickly throw out a nice Market Musings blog. But believe me, when I say, I've had days where I wasn't really into crypto, but right now it feels worse than ever before that I don't know the state of things at all. I seriously have no idea what's going on in the crypto world right now for the simple reason that I never have thought less about crypto ever than this week. My entire week has revolved around Lana. Our sweet, stubborn, 13-year-old Dutch Shepherd had to be euthanized last Friday due to breast cancer.

So now while I'm looking for what happened in the crypto world last week, my mind wanders quite a bit, and I remember the times when I was looking for crypto news, that it all took a little longer than what our Lana would like, and then she came to make it clear that the blog could be done a little later, she then kept her paw on my leg until I got up to do something fun with her. Only when she had had that, it would be okay for me to sit down for my blog again. Myla and Skipper don't do this, not yet. The feeling of missing Lana, in a dozen different small things, makes it difficult for me to switch back to crypto. The entire previous week was all about Lana and crypto meant nothing to me at all. And now, I have to deal with the fact that Lana is gone, that she will never be here again, and dig my usual interests back out from under the mountain of sadness that has engulfed me. Of course, I could have chosen not to tell you this, and just write some Market Musings. But I'm a blogger who mostly uses personal feelings and experiences to write my blogs, and I'm 99% sure @raymondspeaks won't mind this. It is not important to @brofund, it is completely separate from the entire project of course. But it's my feeling...

Finding Back My Crypto Interests

Now let's move on to some crypto news. You can imagine my surprise was great today. I completely ignored everything related to crypto for a week, I seriously had no idea that Bitcoin had started a sprint, but where does that suddenly come from? Could it be that the effects of the ETFs are now becoming visible? And yes, it seems that way. It seriously looks like this price increase is a result of the launch of the ETFs.

Of course, there are never certainties in the financial world. We all know that small changes can have big consequences, and big worldly events can suddenly arise and cause even bigger and sometimes painful changes. But right now, it seriously looks like a very favorable market has emerged for Bitcoin. We are counting down the halving, which is only 65 days away;

Can We Get A Little Bull-Run Before Halvening?

In addition, the Bitcoin Spot ETFs were launched. And those two things together seem to be acting as some sort of catalyst for a small bull run leading up to the halving. The price currently stands at 48K USD. The All-Time-High is about 21K USD away from us. But it is still not considered entirely impossible to tap this before the halving. Bitcoin has done strange things before, right? We may well be surprised again.

There could be a new hype surrounding Bitcoin if the bulls gain the upper hand. To be honest, it would be fantastic if this happened, it would certainly provide a positive boost for the entire crypto world. But don't worry if it doesn't happen before the halving, there are certainly other possibilities for Bitcoin, and we will only notice the biggest effects after the halving. However, that does not alter the fact that a strong starting position would be very nice.

Let's Just Wait And See

So let's just wait and see how things go as we count down to the halving moment. While we wait, I hope we can enjoy rising prices... because we've waited long enough for that.

Have a nice week everyone and see you next week!
