Hello BROs!

Sometimes when the markets are not at all rosy, I may withdraw into my own cocoon. And that's what happened this week. At those moments I look for other activities, and this week I was completely engrossed in painting. And not just a little, but a lot. So much so that I completely forgot to write a Friday Market Musing post for @brofund.

So I decided to include that in the Newspaper this week, because as you probably already understood, I didn't think much about the crypto markets for the past week. A look in the morning, I looked at my holdings, and what I would earn that day. Despite all the panic in the markets, this is still not bad. And as long as that's good, I don't really worry at all.

I've made my strategy, and now it's just a matter of sticking to it. No FOMO, no FEAR. Really nothing more or less than sticking to my strategy. STICK TO THE PLAN! And that reminds me of @jjb777. He has drawn wonderful plans in the past ... and now I must confess that I have not always kept to them. The result is also there.

For example, @jjb777 once drew a plan for me to get to a rose/gold iPhone. I didn't stick to that plan and...yeah, you guessed it! I still don't have a rose/gold iPhone! No, I've been content with a Motorole Edge 20. A phone that's much cheaper, and oddly enough, I can do pretty much the same thing with this cheap phone as I can with the much more expensive iPhone. But at least this choice allowed me to stick to another plan. And that's not using all my funds every time so that I can build something up instead of having to start over from zero every time!

Why this story? I think the moral of this story lies in the fact that we always have to make choices. And making choices is not always easy. Especially not when you walk around in that big store where a lot seems to be on sale the last few days. You can only spend your money once. Take a good look at the things you spend your money on.

That certainly applies to crypto. Again, you can only spend your dollars on this once. Once you have bought your crypto you want to see profit! To achieve this, you will have to estimate before you start buying how big the chance is that your crypto will increase in value. Whether there is a revenue model depends on several factors, and you should have researched these factors BEFORE you buy. Walking around with a bag of money in this crypto market where everything is on sale without a plan is not so smart.

You've probably heard that the bear market is the time for collecting. That is certainly true, but blind collecting without knowing what the chances are that a project even has a chance of survival is again not so smart. Read those white papers! They are not made for nothing. This is so YOU can do your homework. That you know in advance what the project entails. What the plans are, what the tokenomics are, who is on the team. And then if you're really smart, you check the team to see what their track record is. After all, you don't want to step into a project where the team members were all involved in one of the previous crypto scams you heard about. At least, I really wouldn't want to get into that, no matter how beautifully the tokenomics, revenue models and use cases would be described.

So yeah...if you've taken profits from the bull market and are waiting to reinvest them back into the bear market now, make sure you have a plan! And stick to your plan! And if you don't have a plan ... go and do your own research to draw your plan!

As for the project news for BRO token, I can tell that our Ray is working hard on the new website. We will definitely see more of that soon, and that will also be when the new whitepaper will be available for everyone to read.

Content from @brofund will be displayed on the website. And that also makes it easy to share that on various Social Media outside Hive. Spread the word! We will certainly try to reach people outside of Hive. With the experience that Ray has built up in the past as a blogger, it is expected that this will certainly work.

In short, the website and whitepaper is for now the thing that Ray is most busy with and that is progressing! All you need is just a little more patience. Lol.

Where until a few days ago Hive still managed to hold on to a value of around 50 cents, that is now a different story. The fall of FTX and the crash it caused in the markets has also hit Hive well. We now see a price of 35 cents.

The messages that all hope is lost for everyone have reappeared and I see people with very pessimistic thoughts left and right. To those people I would like to say, keep hope! There will come a time when crypto revives!

This week I also received a message that oil company Shell has entered into a two-year sponsorship contract with Bitcoin Magazine. They certainly wouldn't if they didn't believe in the future of crypto in general. I am not going to argue that Bitcoin and crypto cannot fall further down. It is rumored that Bitcoin will make the new bottom around USD 13,800. And that rumor arose from the fact that Bitcoin has always bottomed on a key SMA indicator in the past. (200 SMA, 300 SMA etc.), and let this 13,800 just now be the 400 SMA indicator. Will that be the new bottom? We'll have to wait and see... Get ready, and enjoy the ride. It's gonna be a wild one!

• In the midst of a lingering bear market where everyone sees their portfolios go down, something very beautiful seems to be emerging in the Neoxian City. I've seen several people in town talking about a Food Donation initiative to be set up. The details are still to be worked out. But if people like @sayee and @burlarj get involved in this, you can be pretty sure this initiative will get off the ground. And that would mean that more people in Nigeria and perhaps also India can be helped through Hive. This is the crypto spirit! And I love seeing it flare up again in the middle of this dragging and brutal bear market!

• The sharp fall in the Hive price this week has left some people in disbelief. Completely shocked. Other people thought that now all hope of everyone in crypto was lost. You can almost say with certainty that these people have not been in crypto that long. And that this is their first bear market. Admittedly, the macroeconomic conditions now are really much worse than in 2018. That also makes this bear market a much more brutal one.

  However, not everyone has lost hope. On the contrary, many of us aren't worried at all, and are at most annoyed that they don't have dry powder on the side to buy the deep dips. @tdctunes better produce some extra tunes to get some more fiat. Although I think he still has some time. I think the dips are going to get a little deeper.
  
  

• Sometimes secrets you don't expect will surface due to common questions in a community. This week a question was asked in the CineTV community to which @papacrusher didn't immediately know the answer. He asked @traciyork for her take on the question.

  Traci replied and then Papa answered the person who asked the original question again. Nothing special, there is always enough communication. But what made it special this time was the answer from the original questioner. The word choice was pretty much the same as Traci's!
