Splinterlands Weekly Recap | Feb 3, 2024

It's time for another #splinterlands weekly recap. A lot happened this week, let's dig in:
🛖 Splinterlands held its bi-weekly Town Hall, covering a number of topics. Here were a few interesting snippets:
🛖🏝️ Continued development on Land. 2.0 WP almost done, just needs "cleaning up" according to @Yabapmatt.
🛖🗼 Matt: "Getting Soulkeep launched is very important and we are close on a deal to get someone to launch it"
🛖🐊 @investygator: "There might be some gameplay formats that aren't ranked that are coming later this year...", to which Matt said "that's true". Cheeky.
🛖🪙 Ranked reward updates getting worked on. No specific timeline yet, but discussions around a possible reward point "store", also linked to the idea of getting "dust" from SB cards to exchange them for others.
🛖🎬 New ruleset (reach around?) coming with the next update.

🔥 $DEC minting slightly exceeded burns over the last 7 days due to the end of season rewards. Meanwhile another ~170k $SPS was organically burned for $DEC. As of this writing, DEC is knocking on the peg's door.

⚔️ Rebellion packs burned crossed the 1M mark. Meanwhile, a total of >750k packs have been sold so far, with 88%+ of those being open, presumably for participation in Conflicts. In related news we are over 1/3 done with the Rage conflict.

📺 @Yabapmatt did a great interview with @drew_wolfer and said in the TH that more of these are coming to help expand our audience reach. Go support the video here

🤖 Arcade Colony posted a lot of content, including teaser demos and a whitepaper confirming that 50% of the long term airdrop will go to $SPS stakers.
