5 Minutes Freewrite: View of The Wall

As I stood in front of the towering wall, I couldn't help but feel a sense of dread wash over me. The view of the wall was both mesmerizing and terrifying, as it seemed to stretch on for miles in either direction. It was a constant reminder of the divide that separated our world.

Ever since the war broke out, this wall had been built to keep us apart. On one side, I stood with my family and friends, struggling to survive in a world filled with poverty and oppression. On the other side, the enemy lived in luxury, enjoying all the privileges and resources that we were denied.

I often found myself wondering what life was like on the other side of the wall. Did they live in constant fear of an attack? Did they even know or care about the suffering on our side? The view of the wall only fueled my curiosity and longing for a better life.

But as I gazed at the wall, I also saw the graffiti and messages of hope and resistance that adorned its surface. It was a symbol of our resilience and determination to fight for our freedom.

As I turned to leave, I made a silent promise to myself. One day, I would climb over this wall and see what lay beyond. Because no wall, no matter how high, could ever stop the human spirit from seeking a better tomorrow.
